Dungeons Dungeons Should Need To Be Soloed On Ironman Mode

    Why aren't dungeons solo-required?


    NO IDEA.

    There's literally no reason why dungeons shouldn't need to be soloed on ironman mode when things like LI and quest bosses do. Yes, there is the factor that it may be more difficult to implement, but seriously, when an ironman player can be carried all the way through to level 103 by letting other players complete dungeons for them, it kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it?

    Now my suggestion is simple: Make dungeons solo-required for ironman players.

    But since this is General Suggestions on the wynncraft forums, I'm gonna get shat on if I don't provide a method to incorporate this into the game.


    The first method: (Might be impossible, idk. I'm not a programmer.)
    Basically the best way to incorporate this is simply not allowing ironman players through dungeon doors unless they collect the tokens for themselves. If other players are in the dungeons with them and they open the doors, ironman players won't be able to get through. An invisible force can push them back if they try, as well as receiving a message like this one:

    The second method:
    Mobs in dungeons will drop 1 other kind of token, an ironman token. (I guess it could just be an orange token instead of a yellow one / red token instead of a blue one).
    - Ironman players can only pick up ironman tokens, and not regular tokens
    - Non-ironman players can only pick up regular tokens, and not ironman tokens
    The only other thing to get this to work is that ironman players will only be able to pick up ironman tokens if they kill the mob.

    As for the bosses of the dungeons, they should be fairly straight forward. If a non-ironman player deals any damage to a boss, the ironman player cannot be teleported out of the dungeon room. In other words, the ironman player will need to deal 100% of the damage to the boss in order to complete the dungeon.

    Yeah I don't know for sure how this could be implemented, but all I know is that it is something that should be part of the game, let me know what you think.

    TL;DR
    Make dungeons solo-required for ironman players.

    I don't want to imagine all the bugs this could cause with dungeons already being so capable of breaking...

    How are they capable of breaking? From what I can see of dungeons, they seem fairly stable.

    Also, if there were bugs that came with an addition like this then it's up to the devs to figure out how to resolve them, just like it's up to them to figure out how to implement this feature. I'm simply making a suggestion for an addition.

    Although I do like this suggestion, for ironman-only tokens, there would need be ironman-only token receivers as well, which would need to be either standard in a dungeon or be spawned when an Ironman enters the dungeon.

    You also make multiple points about the ironman only being able to open a door when no one else has collected any tokens, or defeat the boss when only that player damages it. Well, there's a decent chance of another player doing the same dungeon, especially when dungeon bombs are involved. The ironman would just have to wait until the normal player is gone. And it still wouldn't make it so ironmen wouldn't be able to be carried; just make some mage run the dungeon with you, holding a King of Hearts or whatnot, and you're never going to die.

    I think the best way of solving this might just be duplicating the dungeons on the map, and making ironman essentially use another dungeon than normal players; that way, there's a very small chance they'll run into other players, and an even lower chance they'll get carried through.
    (Also, please add a 'yes but in a different way' kind of option on the poll :3)

    Added the poll option.

    And yea, I was also thinking about how there could be a another dungeon strictly for ironman players but if there were two ironman players or more running the same dungeon, on the same server, then they would be both put into the room and it would no longer be a solo.

    Another thing, maybe you didn't know, but ironman players can't interact with each other through spells which can give players buffs, so having a support mage wouldn't change anything.

    Just because they cant use items from other players doesn't mean they cant play with other players

    If this is added we may as well say only ironmen can collab for ??? or only ironmen can use the same totems
