I believe that this grind spot is slightly broken. The enemies drop upwards of 5000 xp when killed (some even over 10k xp). Compared to other grind spots at similar enemy levels, it drops more than 2x more xp. However, one enemy, the cannoneer, deals nearly 7000 damage. I think this is a little excessive for a ranged enemy that is only level 87. With the xp and this damage, this grind spot feels more like a level 90+ grind spot rather than a level 85. I just think that it drops way too much xp compared to other grind spots and makes other spots seem a little underwhelming. Honestly, I think that them dropping this much xp is more fun as it removes some of the grindyness also trying not to get two hit by the ranged mobs can provide a little more enjoyment.

I think this grind spot already got nerfed, and the xp gained isn't as much as you might think: the mobs have incredibly high health for the level (and seeing you're an archer, probably oneshot you), making the total xp gain over time fairly average.

sorry i've just been grinding here and you gain xp way faster than any other spot that i've been to at level 90+. The mobs can get killed pretty easily since I have been there at level 85 and could kill them easily with spells. The only problem with grinding here at level 85 is how dangerous it is because of the damage. Hence why it feels like it is 10 levels too high for the area that it is in.

I think it's partially because you're an archer, probably with a lot of damage; I remember grinding here with my assassin a month or two back, and some of them twoshot me and it took a while to kill any of them (compared to other grind mobs). I think the whole high risk-high reward was intentional, and doesn't really need changing.

As a sidenote, you can do CIB from level 85. Way quicker way of earning xp than any form of grinding at that level.

Is it possible to solo CIB or any of the other dungeons? (I don't really have anyone to run dungeons with)

As long as you're not weak to the main attacking element (water for CIB iirc), you should be fine. I was talking about CIB parties for earning xp; you just make sure you stay alive as others defeat all the (mini)bosses and get tokens. Finding a proper party with bombs is sometimes hard though.
