As much as it'd be nice to have this thread be a chain of serious replies with justified arguments as to why the SB should be added back, the fact it's turned into shitposting is sort of a good analogy for the people we're trying to contact. It's immature, unprofessional, and it gets nobody nowhere. Just like the lack of responses we've been getting from higher-ups. At this point, I'd settle for a mod saying why they're not allowed to tell us why they removed the shoutbox. This radio silence is just awful though, and not only creates but highlights the large disconnect between the authority and the community they rule over.

To the mods or admins reading this:
Is it really that hard to talk to your playerbase? We're not a bunch of savages talking out of our asses. Here's the proof in the form of all (of what I consider) the good replies on this thread so far that either present a valid argument for the shoutbox or are noteworthy replies in general. I've done the work for you, you don't need to sift through all the memes people have posted. Please, just consider replying to one of them. Or just showing you know that we're here, and our replies aren't being thrown into a void.
