World Change King's Recruit

What the hell are you saying? Can you rephrase that?

 

If you're that dense you're probably not gonna know what identifying, spells, or the bank is. With way that the tutorial and chat messages are right now, all of those get the same amount of explanation or less as soul points do. Professions (literally better skipped until you're level 90+) get their own essay though. Which is kind of what this thread is about.

 

It's actually kind of surprising how often new players just ignore text right in front of their eyes and then complain that they don't know how something works. Since there have been so many new playthroughs on Youtube I've been able to see this repeatedly.

 

Well, there are some players like me who didn't move the cursor to the soul points.
After reaching the 70-80 i decided to check out the forums because i wanted to suggest wood cutting... it's in the game now yaay and learned about the soul points from the help page and a lot of other things.

 

There are two quests that introduce things as quests and they are Kig's Recruit and Elemental Exercise and imo both are bad

 

I understand King's recruit but why elemental exercise?

 

Elemental Exercise builds up like it's going to introduce powders but just... doesn't. Other than that I think it's fine.

 

IT's just like this:

"Hey elements exist and to show it to you we'll have you do fire damage on an overly fire-weak mobs so that you can kill it instantly"
"wow u cant even go through a cave. meet me back ar the camp"
"ok so yeah elements exist... idfk what powders are though so"

and also its level 10, we need to have learned powders & elements by the start of the game. Level 10 is already like average 3 hours of gameplay
