    Minecraft:
    Hello everyone!

Bank page prices have been a problem for a lot of us, being myself a player that used to have 11 pages full of items before the 1.18 update, and now with the 1.18 update a lot of items have been added like ingredients, relic items, materials and new weapons/armour/accessories, so we needed more pages to contain these items.

With the 1.18 we got 10 more pages to buy and contain these items, but as i said before, the bank page prices have been a problem for a lot of us.

A lot of solutions that i got from players didn't help a lot, like "Throw your useless items" or "Buy more bank pages, the prices are good" or "This is a money sink" etc.

    The importance of bank pages:
First, i would like to show how much important is the bank pages are.

    1. Players who do loot runs: Someone who loot runs will probably have a lot of legendary/rare items in his bank waiting to be sold.
    2. Players who do professions: Materials and ingredients take a lot of space, and that's just natural seeing how many ingredients there are, and the number of materials you need to mine.
    3. Players who play on multiple classes: There are players who play with multiple classes casing him to get a lot of quest items, builds and scrolls etc.
    4. Players who do builds: Some players love to gather a lot of types of builds which means a lot of items.
    5. Players who collect items: I can say that a lot of players collect items that are unique like set or relic or old items etc.

Well, i'm sure there are a lot of players that loot runs or do professions etc don't have a problem with only using 13-14 bank pages, but that doesn't mean that there aren't players that have problems with using only 13-14 pages.

    Temporary solutions/arguments:
Second, i'm going to talk about temporary solutions like "Throw your useless items" or argument like "It's a money sink".

    1. Throw your useless items: A lot of players believe that this is a solution but it really isn't, it can help a little bit but it doesn't solve the problem. To a lot of players keeping ingredients below tier 2 is useless to them but there are players who don't believe this to be right or players who store a lot of weapons/armour/accessories which are useless to a lot of other players.
Saying to a player that what he believes to be useful is useless and to throw it away won't work to a lot of us.
EX: I don't believe that storing weapons/armour/accessories is useful to me, but a lot of other players think otherwise. I believe that storing some tier 0 ingredients is useful to me and a lot of others don't.
It's simple "Your useless items isn't to another player".

    2. It's a money sink: A money sink would need to be a reasonable one, a lot of players didn't buy pages past 13-16. Making a page cost more than 24Le is very costly for a page, with 24Le you can buy very good legendary items. A lot of casual players don't make a lot of money and they spend it on items/scrolls etc.
Bank pages aren't something like breeding a white horse, bank pages are needed to a lot of players so making it a money sink won't work, it’s not like breeding a white horse which isn't necessary for even endgame players.

    3. Buy the pages: The price for bank pages is a lot, and when i say a lot i really mean it. Six stacks for 10 pages is a lot, for the first two pages 19Le which is affordable but after this, it's just too much. It's totally possible to gather 28Le for the third page but would i buy it? No, the price is just very high, i want to buy other items. I don't want to wast a whole three days gathering for a bank page.

    How to change the prices:
I tried to gather information about the prices for bank pages after asking players and being ignored by Salted himself with a somewhat huge picture? what?! and here what i got:
    1. Free
    2. 11 E
    3. 26 E
    4. 56 E
    5. 1 EB 54 E - (118 E / 1.84 EB)
    6. 3 EB 59 E - (251 E / 3.92 EB)
    7. 8 EB 19 E - (531 E / 8.30 EB)
    8. 17 EB 24 E - (1,130 E / 17.66 EB)
    9. 37 EB 46 E - (2,414 E / 37.72 EB)
    10. 1 LE 16 EB 63 E - (5,183 E / 80.98 EB / 1.27 LE)
    11. 2 LE 46 EB 45 E - (11,181 E / 174.70 EB / 2.73 LE)
    12. 5 LE 58 EB 51 E - (24,243 E / 378.80 EB / 5.92 LE)
    13. 12 LE 57 EB 28 E - (52,828 E / 825.44 EB / 12.90 LE)
    14. 28 LE 15 EB 29 E - (115,677 E / 1,807.45 EB / 28.24 LE)
    15. 32 LE 17 EB 24 E - (132,184 E / 2,065.37 EB / 32.27 LE)
    16. 36 LE 34 EB 30 E - (149,662 E / 2,338.47 EB / 36.54 LE)
    17. 41 LE 2 EB 34 E - (168,098 E / 2,626.53 EB / 41.04 LE)
    18. 45 LE 49 EB 24 E- (187,480 E / 2,929.38 EB / 45.77 LE)
    19. ... Around 52 LE maybe
    20. ... Around 58 LE maybe
    21. ... Around 64 LE maybe
Total price is 6 Stacks of LE.

Well, you can see that the prices from page 14-21 being more than 28Le which is a massive amount of emeralds for a lot of players.
Now, i'm sure the players who bought past page 12 or 13 would really hate it if the cost for the bank pages suddenly has been lowered.
A solution would be to add more bank pages and let them have the added pages.

I would say to add 9 more bank pages, this means that we will have 30 bank pages.
Every player who has 1-11 pages will still have the same number of pages.
If a player has 12 pages he will get page 12, 13 and 14.
    13 Pages get 15, 16 and 17
    14 Pages get 18, 19 and 20
    15 Pages get 21 and 22
    16 Pages get 23 and 24
    17 Pages get 25 and 26
    18 Pages get 27
    19 Pages get 28
    20 Pages get 29
    21 Pages get 30
    Here's the new prices:
    1. Free
    2. 12 E - 11 E (original price)
    3. 24 E- 26 E
    4. 48 E - 56 E
    5. 1 EB 32 E - 1 EB 54 E
    6. 3 EB - 3 EB 59 E
    7. 6 EB - 8 EB 19 E
    8. 12 EB - 17 EB 24 E
    9. 24 EB - 37 EB 46 E
    10. 48 EB - 1 LE 16 EB 63 E
    11. 1 LE - 2 LE 46 EB 45 E
    12. 1 LE 32 EB - 5 LE 58 EB 51 E
    13. 2 LE - 12 LE 57 EB 28 E
    14. 2 LE 32 EB - 28 LE 15 EB 29 E
    15. 3 LE - 31 LE 17 EB 24 E
    16. 4 LE - 36 LE 34 EB 30 E
    17. 5 LE - 41 LE 2 EB 34 E
    18. 6 LE - 45 LE 49 EB 24 E
    19. 9 LE - 52 LE
    20. 12 LE- 58 LE
    21. 14 LE - 64 LE
    22. 16 LE
    23. 18 LE
    24. 20 LE
    25. 22 LE
    26. 24 LE
    27. 46 LE
    28. 52 LE
    29. 58 LE
    30. 64 LE
The total is nearly 6 stacks of Le.
Now the first 21 pages will be one stack of Le instead of 6.

About the level past 21, i would say make them all level 100 .

If any of the CT/Admin has information about the bank pages i would really like to hear them, please.

    My bank/class

Tbh, i can't play professions because i don't have enough space for ingredients/materials.
I know what i just said was kinda stupid, but it's the truth.

The problem here is that the players who bought a lot of bank pages. Some players bought all bank pages which is 6 stacks, it will be a pretty bad thing to just lower the prices.
But, It's possible by making 41 pages, every single page from 22-41 (20 pages) will cost 16Le (full price is 5 Stacks), and the cost from page 1-21 will cost one stack.
    Edit:
    Something like:
Every player who has 1-11 pages will still have the same number of pages.
If a player has 12 pages he will get page 12, 13 and 14.
    13 Pages get 15, 16 and 17
    14 Pages get 18, 19 and 20

    20 Pages get 34, 35, 36 and 37
    21 Pages get 38, 39, 40 and 41

I literally just bought another account just so I can play professions, it's not the only reason but it's one of the main reasons. Its also because there was a 50% of Minecraft, so this is another reason.

Correct, however ParkourTnt is referring to how the bank pages double in price from around page 11 and onwards, with those higher pages costing over 20Le for a single page - a price most players would consider absurdly high.

From what I understand, your complaint is the current prices jump up to 28 LE too suddenly around page 14, which is fair.

However, your solution is just adding new bank pages. The total price of unlocking all pages stayed the same. Reducing the prices kinda defeats the purpose of the bank pages being sort of a money sink.

I think the intent behind the current design is that the first 10-ish pages have relatively low prices so that the average player can access them. Imo, 10-13 pages is plenty for the average player. Beyond that, the prices ramp up quickly because the extra pages are seen as more of an extra commodity that players with money to spend can buy, thus acting as a money sink.

You said that "pages shouldn't be a money sink because people need them" and you are right. But with the current system, only the later pages really act as the money sink. Spending 28+ LE for your one page on top of 13 other pages can easily be a money sink. That one extra page doesn't mean as much when you have 13 other pages. The average player can easily obtain an adequate number of pages. Having 20 pages can be seen as more of a commodity/bonus and not as necessary.

10-13 pages are enough as long as you're not hoarding everything you come upon. Even if you loot run often, as I did, you should be able to easily manage bank space as long as you actually sell your items. The whole point of having limited bank space is that you have to pick and choose what items to keep and what to throw/sell. If everyone had 20-30 pages, people can just hoard everything, from gear to ingredients and stockpile up, which as convenient and nice it may be for the player, it may not be healthy for the game.

I think this whole issue comes down to "How much bank space should players get?" and not "How much should bank pages cost?"
    ________________________________
Also, after looking at your previous thread on this, I feel like that this could also be a problem with how you use your bank space personally.

If I'm being honest, the previous thread was to put how frustrated I was with bank page prices.
    ________________________________
I think you really don't understand how much important the bank pages are.
You see, in your point of view 13 pages are more than enough and that's okay. But that doesn't mean it's true for all the average players.

For a player who used all 11 bank pages before the economy update was quite enough (maybe). With the new update they add a LOT of new items (ingredients/materials weapons etc), and with the new elemental revamp unique will be used a lot more meaning more space.
Now, how many bank pages they add to contain the huge amount of the new items? 10 which is good... but, most of us don't have or won't buy a bank page that costs a lot of LE. You can say that it's not a lot of money, and that's true for him, but that doesn't mean it's true for all the players. There are players who can only offer 2-4 pages at max as evidence from this thread, and for a lot of us, it isn't enough.

About the money sink part... it's horrible, making a major part of Wynncraft a money sink is just horrible. For example, white horses are money sink which kinda works because not even endgame needs them. But a lot of the players do need/wants more space for their playstyles.
Note that I'm not saying it's wrong to make a major part of Wynncraft a money sink is bad, but make it affordable. I can't even know what are the prices for the last two bank pages because most if not all of the players didn't buy them.

Your saying that it's a problem of "How much bank space should players get?" but it's not. There's a limit to how many pages you can buy which is 21, and it's a perfectly good space for all the new content that we have and the coming ones.

For the reason why I said to make another 9 pages, it's for the players who truly used 1-6 stacks of Le. It will be really a nightmare to lose that amount of money (to me at least... and a lot of other players).
I didn't want to just make pages from 1-21 cost one stack and left those who paid above one stack, so I add 9 pages for who have paid for pages from 12-21.

Note that there are players who did buy another account for more space (and other reasons), and I'm one of them.

First of all, your thread shows that 3.4% of voters have less than 6 pages, and if you scroll down on some of the replies, most people are in the 10-15 area, which is consistent with your poll results. So I'd say that yes, the typical player is fine with 13 or so pages.

Now, lemme rephrase my point. Yes, bank pages are important. But is having 21 bank pages important? No, it's not.

I said this already, but I feel that the current system "soft caps" bank pages at around 13-15, where the price suddenly jumps up. Your typical player should be able to afford those. You can easily play the game to its full extent. Now, once you get into 15-20 page range, the high prices act as a money sink. If you already have 15 bank pages, having/not having 1 extra page isn't as huge of a deal. Therefore, people with money to spend can purchase those extra pages as a commodity/bonus of sorts.

The whole point of money sinks is to get the super-rich players to blow their money on things that aren't necessary. For example, horse breeding, rerolling ID, and extra bank pages.

You're arguing that those extra bank pages ARE necessary, and should be more affordable. So yes, the main question behind this thread comes down to "How much bank space should your typical player be able to obtain?"

That question is different for everyone. But IMO, 13 pages is enough as long as you're not hoarding everything you get your hands on, and using the space efficiently.

Again, from looking at your previous thread, I think that this problem could be because of how you use your bank space. You're entitled to your opinions and views, but just because you tend to use up more space doesn't mean that the server should reduce prices of pages. Again, I'm sure everyone would want more pages, but that may not be necessary, and would probably be unhealthy for the game if everyone started stockpiling everything. After all, to me, it seems the pages past 15 are treated more as a commodity than a necessary unlockable aspect for gameplay.

For reference, I have 14 pages.
    1) LE, Collectibles, LI Tokens
    2) Tp Scrools, Dungeon Keys/Runes
    3) Quest Items and Helmets
    4) Powders
    5) XP and Loot Set
6-11) Random gear I decided to keep from lootrunning, whether to sell or use.
    12) Hive Tokens/Rewards
    13-14) Ingredients and Materials

I find this more than enough for my personal use, and if I went through and cleaned it up, I could probably open up 1-2 pages of space if I wanted to.

Let me say this as clear as I can: 15 Pages isn't enough

I don't really understand, like from where did you know that most if not all the players only need 15 pages?

Let me break it for you here: Your style of playing Wynncraft isn't like most of the players.

There's a lot of people that play the game differently, you only need two pages for ingredients/materials others need 10 pages. If you saw my first thread about bank pages you'll see someone who had a LOT of legendaries and ingredients/materials.

If 21 pages were unhealthy for the game than just make the limit 13 pages. Making an unhealthy money sink isn't the best idea.

And again, PLEASE just look at how many items 1.18 have added (Ingredients, materials, and items) and the next update we'll have a lot of the uniques revamped to be useful. You're not telling me that ONLY 2-4 more pages are enough for all the new items.... do you understand now? 2-4 pages aren't enough for all the items that we have in 1.18 and the upcoming ones.

Most players have 12-16 pages, and its where the "soft cap" is in terms of pricing. Your typical player has ~13 pages.

15 pages may not be enough for YOU. Then again, I got the impression that you tend to keep more stuff than the typical player. If that's your playstyle, so be it, but you cant expect to have a more hoarding/stockpiling playstyle and then proceed to declare that the current system is inadequate.

And if I may ask, you previously said somewhere that you didn't even loot run. Where are you getting all the items? Half my bank is gear from lootrunning. Furthermore, all your professions are lvl 1. Why are you hoarding ingredients in the first place?

Again, in terms of ingredients, I've been leveling all professions simultaneously on my Assassin, and I'm currently ~lvl 40 on each. So far, I've been more than fine using 2 pages for resources. That's all I can say from my experience.

You decided that the system wasn't adequate for you and needs to change. I don't have a problem with the current system, so I said otherwise.

Also just as a side note. Who are you to say that my playstyle isn't like most other players? I could easily ask you to consider the same thing yourself.

Sorry, just really annoys me when people try to justify their points like this.
