When you level up, you gain 2 experience points to add in any way you like, but what if, there was another type of leveling!
The kind of leveling I am thinking of is Action Leveling. Action Leveling is a type of leveling you can gain mini, mini buffs, just by just playing the game.
Ok, let me explain. Let's say you really like to play fast and at range, the more you do this, the more you level Action Levels. You can not put points in your self, you can only level up the skill by doing actions pertaining to the 5 skills. Strength, Intelligence, Ect.
Know, you may be thinking, 'Will this not buff up players to an immeasurable degree?!'
No, because Action points only level up at a 6th of the pace of normal leveling, but by end game it can stack up.
You may also be thinking, 'What if I want to change my style and, thus my Action Levels?'
The Action Level system would actually detect a change in style and switch over rather quickly. This would be detected through the types of weapons used, range at which the player kills enemies, the amount of mana used and how fast, and ect.
Over time the action level system can be a great help in reducing mana use very slightly every some many levels, increasing basic strength over time, increasing agility, and ect.

I think that Action Leveling can bring in a whole new level of customization to the player that reflects his or her play style.

Please, ask questions to clarify. I am not a very good writer.

What’s the point of adding this though? It seems like it would only be to make players more powerful, which would still end up causig power creep.

Every player would get it. If you are higher level the newly gained points would conform rather quickly. The amount of buffs givin is quiet small, but enough to make you feel like you are not playing a set made by others, but your own individual set of levels.

As of recent I can honestly say that wynn has almost become too easy. Legendary items are some of the most powerful items in the game and in my case are stupidly common now, the newly added crafted items allow us to make builds that can obliterate the boss rushes, skill points such as dexterity give us the ability to do double damage, life steal and health regen allows us to beat the entire game without any potions, the spell system eg. mutli hit, meteor, uppercut, arrow storm+bomb allow us to kill 20+ enemies in 5 seconds, AND YOU STILL WANT MORE POWER? At this rate if anymore buffs are added i'll have the full on capability to vaporise the entirety of qira hive in an instant with but a single hit all the while utilising the depressing STICK.

We need more ways to kill players in wynncraft, not add more ways to give them to break the game that it becomes obnoxiously boring. Things like traps, a world with a higher overall difficulty compared to normal wynn, harder quests such as wynn excavation site D or Reincarnation need to be made (albeit I think reincarnation and bob as a whole needs a make over concerning how old it is) . The last thing on the developers minds in my opinion should be giving players more ways to become too overpowered as of right now, maybe in the future however such as.

Sorry for the rant but power is not what we need right now.

The world already became more difficult in 1.18. Almost every area of the game from the 30s onward got buffed in difficulty.

I am in disagreement with this, as just coming back I could not see a difficulty spike in the desert area last timed I played with a character roughly the same level, rymek and the mesa felt easier than last time I played, and although nesaak forest retains a mildly difficult area, it was always one of the few challenging areas in the game in my opinion and it should stay that way. If you're talking about difficulty with the new grind spots, that's fine, those are genuinely some difficult places to kill enemies, but they're not required which links back to one of my original problems that I stated in the original post of there being a heavy lack of challenging quests because all the while difficult areas exist do exist, very very few are required to beat the game as a whole and thus I never feel challenged to be honest and this idea being added would just withdraw from any experience in my opinion.

Admittedly I haven't been bothered to go to gavel as of recent so if there is a genuine difficulty spike in that area then i'll consider editing this post, but if the majority of the game is going to be as easy as shredding through the entire game

The difference in the desert is pretty minimal, but it becomes very noticeable in the jungle (Troms jungle, Dernel hasn't changed much).
