(i will add photos and logo of this project after reaching 10 posts, lol)

    Why?
I am a bit irritated by the lack of solutions that make economic and bank management a bit more thought-out.
Managing multiple tabs in a bank, opening the first tab all the time instead of what we want is a bit painful.
I decided to write a topic in which I will describe the idea of our own corner in the game. Of course, not in a way that the game suddenly became very easy or access to everything will be very simple. Easy lads! I took care of the right balance of my idea. So you can't use this house for everything and you have to maintain it by not-so-small prices for changing rooms.

    Technical issues
It's very very very debatable part of the game. Some people suggest different world, only with flying islands for craftng, massive identification of items, massive trade'ing them to Blacksmith etc.
The most possible idea for storing this is about variables for islands: if user spawns on free island he will "own" it as long as he's on it. Server will switch rooms as it does with surroundings during quests. It's easy to do - every player has his rooms IN SAME SIZE and in SAME PLACE as everyone else. Only difference is type of the room or if it's exists in desired place.
Player isn't able to switch islands every minute, so for example NPC that allows you to teleport to free island is letting you go every 30 mins. If the player is disconnected or leaves the game at the island, he will be teleported back to NPC that he used. It's easy player-location switch in variables, right?

    How?
As whole idea isn't small and may require coding, balancing, server powers and stuff like that, whole housing should be (imho) avaiable for people that reached cartain quests/levels in the game. I don't want to make this idea pay to win or easy accessable.
Whole idea is about building your own flying island using pre-made sections of it - for example you have your house and you can connect new rooms to avaiable corridors with new useful stuff in these rooms. BUT! You can't add all of them and you can't make your home location to do everything. Hold your horses.
Access to your own home should be avaiable using new NPCs in: Detlas, Corhus, Selchar, Llevigar, Cinfras and Thesead. Also using home scroll.
Home island should look like flying in nowhere, and it should be protected by glass-walls, so owner or NPCs will not fall down ;)

    DIY and rooms
First of all, we need to talk about how to prevent idea from being abused as something too powefull. So I decided to limit rooms per crafting and combat levels.
To make this system more easy-to-do, every room is the same in size and same places for entrances/exits but ofc looks different in style.
Also all walls should have closed exits if they are placed as corners. If room have 2 exits, other 2 should look like closed. Basement room should have only 1 entrance avaiable - to the corridor/stairs.

    For example:
    - 1 main room + 1 room for normal player (40+ level)
    - 1 main room + 2 rooms + 3 corridors + basement room + 1 outside building for 60+ level player (minimum 20 lvl in all crafting sections)
    - 1 main room + 3 rooms + 6 corridors + basement room + 2 outside buildings for 80+ level player (minimum 40 lvl in all crafting sections)
    - 1 main room + 4 rooms + 8 corridors + basement room + 3 outside buildings for 100+ level player (minimum 60 lvl in all crafting sections)

Outside buildings ARE different than normal buildings and limited in different way!

Main Room = Spawnroom + Identifier Corner + Blacksmith Corner + Normal bank Corner + House Master, have 4 connections and 1 of them works as exit to the island. This room may be a bit bigger for house management etc. For example it would be nice to have wall with signboards, texts on them, so the left click will open interface to change them and right click to confirm, or something like that ;)

Corridor = 15 EB = works like normal 4-5 block long corridor that will end with exit to island or entrance to another room, player is able to switch it to entrance to basement room (if player switched it to stairs, but basement isn't purchased yet, it should look like collapsed tunnel).

Powder Master Room = 45 EB = name says everything, 2 entrances avaiable

Advanced Bank Room = 150 EB = This kind of room features different bank, it is connected to your main bank but you have better tabs only avaiable here, for example for powders, for crafting ingredients. So you can store it in more awesome way.

Rafinery Room = 90 EB = you can place room with rafinery inside it, but only one kind of it inside room. So you can use VIP account to have 3 of them in your home, but you will not be able to place any other kind of room. Ofc you can switch to another rafinery, but it will cost you 20 EB once again.

    Crafing Room = 90 EB:
    - Armory containing Weaponsmithing and Armouring tables
    - Workshop containing Tailoring and Woodworking tables
    - Library containing Scribing and Jewelry tables
    - Kitchen containing Cooking and Alchemy tables

Traveler Room = 120 EB = room with the guy that can bring you to desired places around WynnCraft, however his price is 8 times higher than normal trip. It's part of discussion if we should allow travel to all bigger cities, or ONLY one desired while placing the Room, so switching to another location will require another 120 EB for re-placement.

Junk Item Merchant Room = 60 EB = room with the guy that trades junk items, player is able to choose one of them (look at WynnCraft Wiki - > Junk Merchants section)

Auctioneer Room = 120 EB = room with these two ladies from for example Detlas, so you can manage your trades inside your house

    Outside areas
I was thinking how to make island more custom. Ofc in DIY and block-like style where player is chosing some options from many avaiable. Still, I want to make this idea not as location for everything but as addition to whole gameplay.

    (Un)lucky Well (limited to 1) = 30 EB
Looks like gambling place, where you can drop item on cartain ilvl and receive something different once per 8 hours. Once you will get white item for yellow, once white for yellow. There's also small chance for set or legendary item.

    (Un)lucky Mage Tower (limited to 1) = 120 EB
Crazy facker lives here. By giving him some crafting materials (random 1 from 10 types of mini-quests) he will try to empower your crafted item. On success item will have 125% durability rather than standard 100%. On failure item will drop to 25%. Only items with 100% are accepted. Chance should be based on quality or ilvl of crafted item. You can use it once per 24 hours)

    (Un)lucky Shaman Hut (limited to 1) = 80 EB
Another crazy facker lives here. For similar mini-quest this guy will bless or curse you. Chance is 50% and it will least for 2 hours, you can talk with him every 12 hours. Examples:
    - GOD-good roll: 1% health increase
    - MID-good roll: 2% experience buff
    - LOW-good roll: 3% stealing
    - Not good, not bad roll: Potions and Scrolls leasts 2 sec longer
    - LOW-bad roll: -3% stealing
    - MID-bad roll: -2% experience debuff
    - GOD-bad roll: -1% health decrease

    (Un)lucky Resource Site (limited to 2) = 55 EB
River near house can be changed into 4 desired fishing places (higher level = higher price)
Cave near house can be changed into 4 desired mining veins (higher level = higher price)
Fields near house can be changed into 4 desired wheat sources (higher level = higher price)
Not-lootable trees areound house can changed into 4 cut-able trees (higher level = higher price)
These things are (un)lucky resources, which means you can get triple resource from it, but chance is 25%, also these spots respawns 4 times slower than normal or respawns only once per hour.

    (Un)lucky Ingredient NPC (limited to 1) = 60 EB
It should work similiar to resource site, so you can collect stuff once per hour. This outside building should have it own NPC that let you chose which 0-star or 1-star ingredients you want to "farm". This guy may look like adventurer or someone to hire, in his small camp.
He will have 5 chests ready to open every 1 hour, with 0-3 ingredients in each of them. As said above - only 0 or 1 stars. We can discuss if this guy should work for free, or for example opening costs

    And for now that's it.
Let me know what you think. Idea is a bit long, but it would be great to have SOME things in one place and get something in reward for building up your own house. As you see, you can't have all rooms or all crafting tables in one place.
You may say that it's easier to go to Detlas where you have crafting tables, bank nearby etc. Yes, but you don't have rafineries. In my project you can have Armory and Ore Rafinery in house, but to switch it to something else you have to pay EBs again. Also (un)lucky outside buildings may be quite fun to use.

Let the hate on me begins!

    Changelog:
    - 26.01.2019 - changed prices for rooms, added more detailed vision how it should look like on the server side, changed size of the house to level-ranked system, replaced traveller room with different idea

You have no idea how correct you are.
Prepare for the storm of "hey housing thread number 8888888"

    Edit:
    Some actual feedback:
At least you tried to add detail.
Usual complaints: Does not fit the theme of being an adventuring soldier, we already have plenty of storange, it's not annoying to switch bank pages or buy more, and you should add a poll so we can collectively say "NO"

Yup, that's exact reason why I wrote this line ;) But! Most of threads like that are "give me housing, blaaaah, for no reason!". This thread is different, much more depth-thinked and with more details how it should look like. Thanks, I need 8 more posts to add some photos/logos!

Yeah, I added some actual feedback. You deconstructed housing pretty well.

Here's an idea for it, because this might be the only decent version of the suggestion:
You know how a server can have like 50 players? You add 50 housing "spots" that are off-map. When you want to go to a house, you are taken to one of the housing "spots" and your house loads in.

Okay, I am going to skip all of the classic "does not fit the theme, bank is fine" and go to the other issues:

    - donor ranks cannot have extra perks other than visuals due to EULA
    - cannot purchase perks in the house for the same reason
    - everything is terribly under priced
    - totally negates all carefully placed spots of every merchant, refinery, crafting spot and all else; the game is designed in this way for a reason
    - not sure about how you would keep track of all the different housing spaces, considering there are so many variations of how the house would look
    - do not get me started on the whole "keeping track of time"
    - many of your suggestions are very overpowered (like the durability)

I am sure I barely scratched the surface. I have the feeling that you are not that well-versed in Wynncraft. There is a reason why most of the community does not like housing. It is nigh impossible to add any features while still not being overpowered, it would be very hard to add into the game, bringing huge amounts of lag, and it does not fit the theme.

    tl;dr - no likey.

I was warned that WynnCraft community is quite cancer here and it looks like these rumors where true.
Even if you don't like idea or it's not gonna be done, there is no reason for aggression, attack and texts like "go play Sims". Maybe it's better to simply indicate what should be done differently or changed, to be done better than immediately go to a stupid attack.
I'm not surprised that the WynnCraft community is not able to attract new players or people who decided to register on the forum due to intense flame from most-posters and such "exclusive" community.

    - But, thanks for describing issue with EULA, so whole project may be changed to normal quest or level base. For example more rooms for more crafting levels and higher combat level.

    - If something is terribly underpriced you must remember that whole system must be avaiable not only for 100+ levels, but also for people that have 30 or 60. OFC in limited way, so they can't use everything in it.
That's the reason why I decided to write base price for room and for level of things avaiable in it. If you say that something is underpriced, we can introduce payments for usage or maintnance costs for whole POH. But wait... oh nooo... it needs less aggression and more discussion! It's out of your distance, sir.

    - If you ever played LEGO or RuneScape, you should know how it works. exact room appars in exact spot. Only type of this room is different and near every POH (shortcut for player owned house) is nearly the same, only rooms are different. So, if we have scripts that are changing world during quests or dungeons, it should not be a problem to change 13x13 room with some blocks inside.

    - If something is overpowered, we can simply debuff such idea. But... oh no... it needs less aggression, my foxy friend! It's impossible from you, right?

We are far from cancerous. We’re actually one of the most positive and welcoming communities on the platform. I don’t know where you’ve heard that, but it’s wrong. We’re more mature than other communities, you want proof? Go onto Hypixel and see how they act. For example, death threats are a common occurrence on Hypixel if you do basically anything. Death threats are nearly unheard of in the Wynn community. Please get your facts straight before you come out with such lies.

    Here:
The first two comments immediately stated that I should shut up and leave, instead of giving reasons why such idea should be changed, how it should be changed to be more accurate or why it should not be done in WynnCraft. Before I decided to write a topic, I asked friends in the game about joining the community, everyone said that any unpopular suggestion or any sign of going "upstream" will end with the aggression of the most active users who hold some kind of exclusive closed caste. "Add poll with NO option so we can smash your idea" or "Go play Sims" is an example for that. And if you want proof I will tell you something - hyperpixel is full of cancerous kids, and WynnCraft sometimes look like full of cancerous adults that love to attack others for their opinions. But this is not the base of this thread.
If flaming comes here we can let the moderator solve it once for all.

Instead of such texts, it is better to write why the idea should not be introduced or how we should improve it so that it makes more sense even if it does not get attention of the WynnCraft authors.
Some users instead of closing the browser tab with the idea they do not accept or disagree with, prefer to attack the author.

Jesus Christ what kind of outside people do you know? I am yet to see any form of cancer here relative to other forums for Minecraft servers. Furthermore, I haven’t seen anyone “attack” you here. Everyone here has given well thought out and relevant reasons that Wynn doesn’t need housing.

Also regarding your point of “we can’t attract new players”, I don’t have the statistics but from anectotes and general forum activity, it seems the latest update has caused a surge of new AND returning players. Claiming we can’t attract people because we are so “exclusive” is just a bit rude and disingenuous. I would much rather recieve constructive criticism (like I do here) rather than deal with the toxicity and death threats of other places.

As for the “other MMORPG’s have it, why can’t we?” Well, guess what: creating a unique house for every single player would require a MASSIVE technical investment, both in game and out of game. Hosting enough servers to keep that much data would just cause way too many problems. Servers like Hypixel can get away with it because they have so many players and donators that they can afford it, Wynn is much smaller and doesn’t have this luxury. I would rather the CT team work on improving the main game over adding a feature that some people won’t even care to use.

The extremely defensive nature of your comment makes it seem to me that you just don’t like when people disagree with you and your ideas. I can understand people work hard on these things (hell im one of them) but some people just aren’t going to approve, and you have to learn that.

I have to say that we might come across as higher standards because this game expects higher standards. We have no intention of conformity, but there are things that we don’t like for both personal and logical reasons. (People will often bring up the same arguments as the why housing won’t work, so we know that it isn’t a good idea)
You also didn’t bother to show the constructive criticism both users made, so you’re reasoning is faulty.

Hey! This sounds like a pretty ok idea. Much more thought out than other housing threads!

No need to get super defensive though.

    Some criticism:
    - Lag: How will Wynn manage having tens of thousands of houses saved? How do you prevent this from causing lag?
    - Overpowered: Some of these features in the houses seem really OP and unbalanced, like the Traveller. Get anywhere in Wynn for only a couple EB? That’ll instantly make all TP scrolls worthless.
    - Why add it? It seems like it’s just a bunch of small conveniences, that don’t really provide much benefit for players. The (Un)lucky merchants don’t really seem to do much, and the extra storage space is really not needed.

I’m currently not really sure if I like it or not. Try adding some more use to it and make sure to balance the merchants and NPCs.

If the houses are customizable that means that you need a house slot per player.
Wynn has over 2,000,000 unique players (let's say the houses are small and only take a chunk) that's 2 million chunks that will cause lag for the rest of the server.

Maybe not a slot, but storage space. Variables. If variables says that cartain user have rooms designed like ABC, it will switch rooms in the island he spawned to ABC. I'm not the programmer but it should work in the same way like locations that are changed during quests. Some people are able to see destroyed thing after the quest, some people still sees not destroyed thing. Right? Same way in houses.
One player on one house in one chunk-region and you can't log off in it, you will be kicked to the NPC that teleported you to the island. for example.

That's the kind of response I would like to see here. Criticism is based on discussion, not words like "go play Sims" ;) Other users that are still continuing this arguee got reported, mod asked us to stop. I stopped, they don't.

    - Lag:
I was thinking about part of the world that holds only some floating islands. We can prevent people from using house system every minute, causing servers to calculate they rooms every minute. For example: you can go to your home with 30 mins delays or something like that. So you can use it for massive item identification, crafting etc, for the stuff that don't require walking to house every minute.

    - Overpowered:
As I described - the traveller should cost much much much more than scrolls or ships. With delay that you can't go to house every minute it's not so overpowered. Also we can talk about adding ONE of the travellers, for one location and not for all of them, right? :)

    - Storage:
I think we misunderstood the idea of new storage. It's not about adding more tabs or something, but adding DIFFERENT ones, that auto-stack ingrediends by type or by quality. For example Path of Exile - you can store all items in square-like stash tab, but you can get currency stash tab in which you can store everything in more cool and faster way.

Everything is about discussion, so if un(lucky) system looks useless now, it's good to talk about it, to make it more balanced :)

I will update first post for further ideas about lags/spawning/maintaining such islands on the servers.

Dedication. However, there is too much bold.

Thread states the reason for the suggestion and the motivation for the topic. Epic.

I agree housing is very controversial and debatable, however, you managed to present it very well.

I like the avoidance of P2W.

    Holy frick
    that is a nice image

I also like that you are considering many problems present right now, such as economy, P2W, and abuse.

Great ideas for houses; however, I feel like some of these should cost more.

I like the extra immersion and customization.
