Remove Crafting Levels

If you want to craft level 100 items you’ll need to waste your time if you don’t want then buy crafted items, thats why crafted items will raise in value because not everyone will do it and that is a good thing.

If your high level player and you want to level up your crafting first i would recommend you to start a new class if you don’t want than try buying good ingredients/materials and craft with them they really boost your crafting level if you don’t want to loose so much emeralds just to make a good item for your level than i recommend you to find someone and ask him to make you items.
If you just want a good gear i would recommend you to just buy them, crafted levels is needed for the economy without them a lot of players can easily make level 100 item.
by the way this isn’t an attack i just wanted to give you some advice that can help you.

on a lvl 1 dagger since crafting levels where removed

Grinding levels are important for this and economic purposes. As stated numerous times, you can buy the items if you dont want to grind. Or, you can grind for them. (Something that is very fundamental in RPGs but is surprisingly uncommon in WC)

 

Dude that dagger would be ALMOST as good as the ultimate weapon....

It isn't a flame war till people get toxic and insults are hurled blah blah abusive messages etc etc etc.


Quite often in this community things are titled a flame war and closed even when its not.
Yes this isn't exactly productive discussion but there have been many cases where there have been healthy discussion that has been titled a flame war and closed as such.
Honestly its 1 of the many reasons why there are so few quality suggestions around.
Alot of people can't be bothered to invest time into making something that will get closed for "flame war" when it was just positive constructive discussion/criticism with no insults or toxicity.

...that and there are alot of actual flame wars and most these suggestions never are implemented.
Most people that create good ones do it for fun whilst drunk at 3am...
Honestly some of the drunk at 3am suggestions are better then 90% of the other suggestions.

But as I said multiple people labeled this thread as a flame war.
So lets get the definition of a flame war here....

Not the smartest thing to say but o well... someone else said it before. No that doesn't constitute as a flamewar or deserve a lock.

Welp I've had my mini rant about people calling stuff flame wars when they are by definition... not a flame war...

 

If you want high level things, then you need to work for it. They're not giving anyone free levels, that's absolutely ridiculous (It'll make the leader board unfair, and noncompetitive). They're not going to take away crafting skill levels either. They worked pretty hard on the update, and tbh Wynncraft needed a bit of a change in content from combat only to more rpgmmo like games. It gives players more things to do. You can still get potions, weapons, armor, and it can be good enough for your build. But if you want something even BETTER than a mythic, something that does extreme damage you bet your sweet bippy you better work for it. Is it grindy? Yes. It it tedious? Yes. Then don't do it if you don't want to. Removing crafting levels is a very ridiculous suggestion about the update...

people will label anything they dont like as a flame war and thats when it gets locked. even staff and devs are guilty of this.

 

It's really not as ridiculous a suggestion as you're making it out to be. Just make it so that applying certain ingredients raises the combat level of the weapon/armor in particular and you're golden.

You're right, and it's a detail I admittedly didn't think about initially. Putting end gear ingredients on level 1 equipment never occurred to me.

 

This won’t solve the whole problame of removing crafting levels. I don’t really want to say anything anymore.

 

If the ingredients aren't rare enough, sure. Right now there *is* a major problem with the crafting levels, which is that you get thousands of useless items that you cannot use.

 

First, there isn’t a major problem with crafting but sure there are some small problems with crafting, second those useless items have a purpse wich is to be scraped or sold to either a player or the blacksmith.
By the way here is a thread i made (it’s not my original idea) that can help make grinding professions a little more fun and less grinding.

 

Why wouldn't you consider hundreds/thousands (not quite sure how many ingredients there are) of useless items as a major problem? Just curious. I like your suggestion btw.
