Guilds Guild Housing / Economy Update

Introduction:
Greetings, with the new "Economy Update" I believe we can finally introducing housing and allow the potential of guilds to be stronger. I'll try and make this as short and sweet as possible as I know housing ideas are annoying; and requested quite frequently.

Implementation:
To make it as simple as possible: using the current resources of the world you can use them create the housing of the world, along with a furnituring store, which will sell resources currently unavailable such as cobblestone. The higher the level of your guild the more available.

Furnituring Store:
There will be an NPC placed outside of Detlas in a small cottage who offers resources for emeralds, ranging anywhere from more buildings to an ore refinery. Certain items will be locked under a guild level; making it useful for people to work together rather than a one-man-housing-guild.

Plot:
Each guild will be given a 18x18 starting room and the ability to teleport to the plot, /guild hall. In the center a chest will be placed with a list of instructions, for the guild leader, with the ability to lock chests and doors for certain rankings. Example, "/lock Recruiter+" and right click on said object. The owner is given full permission over the plot and give others the ability to add or remove buildings in order to ease griefing.

Shop-Idea:
Level 45-50:

• Armory Room -3LE
• Grand Hall -5LE
• Grand Entrance -5LE
• Wynncraft Statue-7LE

Etc, I'm sure you get the idea. If you've played Warframe, it would be similar. Higher levels being able to buy more decorations including machinery of their own to refine resources. This doesn't offer as much customization as hand-building but it does prevent horrid buildings and people crafting giant phallic members.

Construction:
Once you've purchased the building and have placed it, you must sink collectible resources into it until it becomes fully complete.

Goals:
The ambitions of this project would be to offer a physical hang out for guilds for a number of purposes. Anywhere from goofing around, a trading center, parties, showing off your guild's wealth, Simon Says; the abilities are endless.

And here I was thinking that housing suggestions were a thing of the past.... oh how I was wrong.

Tbf this is better than like 99% of other housing suggestions, since it actually includes some details and attempts to actually do housing justice. However, still no. Housing, even for the sake of guilds, is just not necessary regarding the lore of the game. And while it wouldn't actually be horrible to implement, I would rather them work on improving the main game over adding a feature that may end up just splitting the community: those who play for the base game, and those that play for housing.

 

I agree with the boyo above me. This is one of the best housing threads to ever exist on the forums. That's quite possibly due to the new gathering professions like gathering oak wood to build this and bitcj to build that and copper for this Sandstone for that etc etc
Still a housing thread though so ganna have to yoink a no from me.

As for the suggestion, there’s a reason that housing is so bashed and hated:
Because it’s useless, it doesn’t fit if you think about it (We’re pretty much a soldier/mercenary if you think about it) and because it has a...bad...reputation. For a reason.

I'm just saying it could become useful, with enough effort, we could implement something original to guild buildings that benefit the player.

 

This is still just a housing suggestion so I dont think its a good idea

I agree that this is way better than most housing suggestions. I don't think there should be much buying of things, but more gathering. Maybe for the starting guild house you pay x LE and how ever many materials (a lower amount). And you pay in resources with a very low cost of emeralds if anything. Guild money gets wasted a lot. For guilds that don't war at all money is just donated by players. For guilds who do war, their money is going to those constantly if being attacked. Plus the banner of bragging is there to waste money on. It would be nice to have a private guild server basically too. Where you could host private item bombs, dungeon bombs, etc,... Or just have meetings and events at too. I like it better but it could use some work and more thought.

Oh man a housing suggestion that is actually good? That's new. As for reasons to make it more valid, perhaps the bigger the guild base they could have an exp or money/loot bonus? Kind of like in Fire Emblem Heroes. In that app, you have a castle, the more you upgrade it, you get a bigger exp bonus. It could possibly be like that? That way guild members get somewhat of a percentage back for giving to their guild. Like incentives to keep working I guess. I dunno if it'll work, it was just a spur of the moment thought~
