Official Event The 10 Stack Le Beehive Scavenger Hunt [finished]

The 1.18 Economy Update has dropped today. Yay!

For the not-so-well-informed, here is the changelog.

Before the changelog was posted, a teaser video showcasing the new Detlas was posted on Wynn's YouTube channel. However the beehive at 0:22 was what captured the most attention.

Many players immediately started worshipping the bees for god knows what reason, which gave me the perfect idea for a 1.18 event!

The 1.18 Beehive Scavenger Hunt

What is this event?
A couple weeks after the Detlas teaser video was posted, @Aucorg, @Alexdacube, @Jack Jackson, and me went around the map to place more beehives like the one in Detlas. We thought it'd be a good way to encourage players to fully explore the map and discover new mobs, new ingredients, and new gathering spots for 1.18.

How do I participate in this event?
For this scavenger hunt, you're allowed to work solo or in teams of up to any player count.
To enter, simply start a conversation with me on the forums and update the convo as you find more beehives along the way.

How do I win?
First player/team to finish sending me pictures with coordinates of all 20 beehives wins the challenge.

What is the prize pool?
10 stacks of le!
If a team wins, you're allowed to split the reward amongst the team equally.

When does this event end?
There is no end date!
The event only concludes until someone finds all 20 beehives.

The Objective
Find all the 20 beehives scattered throughout the map!
The number of the bees in each region are as follows:
Wynn - 5
Gavel - 9
Ocean - 3
Corkus - 3



The Rules​

1. Just do not break the Wynncraft rules.

General Information​

• The Detlas beehive is a valid beehive. So you can count it as a freebie.
• None are located in caves.
• None are located on choppable trees.
• None are located in offmap areas. They're all on the main map!
• None are located in unreachable places e.g. border mountain height limit
• All are located in climates where you’d expect a beehive to be. This means none are located in Molten Heights or Nesaak etc.
• Out of the 20, four are located in towns and cities.
• If the event carries on for far too long, I may consider giving out hints or increasing the prize.
• If you have any appropriate questions, feel free to ask in the thread.
• Most importantly, have fun!

Finally, a way to determine who's a real Bee fan or just a Bee bandwagoner!

This seems pretty fun, I think I'll attempt it although I doubt I'll get very far.

Were these new beehives put in during the HERO beta? Bc rip anyone who wasn't in it (aka me) and they might already know half of them lmao

 

They were put in after hero beta but I've not seen anyone post them

 

Okey dokey, so I still have a chance at finding them. I think this is a cool way to get people to explore the map and perhaps some of the new map additions/changes that they may forgo to level up professions/quests.
