Absolute yes vote. Why change such an elementary and handy feature like this right here and now? Not showing combat level like the main game does now will complicate many kinds of social interactions which would otherwise be simple, and there's no real indication, like the original poster said, which skills are actually contributing to the level. (Like if someones levelling up a bunch of areas equally, or if they have 2 or 3 areas super high and the rest low.) I just don't see what there is to gain by the staff changing this, I only see inconveniences.
