Website & Forums Bring Back Wynncrafttheme! (35+)

I don't think I should have to say this, but I'm completely serious.​

The Problem​

The problem here is that default theme (wynncraft theme) has been removed. Now, I don't know about everyone else, but I'm pretty upset about this.

The Solution​

The obvious solution is to just bring default theme back. If we want to keep light theme default, thats fine, I'll just switch back to wynncraft theme. Even if you don't like wynncraft theme, you can just continue to not use it. There seems to be no downside to this. The people that disliked and disused wynncraft theme can just continue not using it. The people like me that did like it and want it back can re-enable it for ourselves.

Downsides to the Solution​

I don't see any downsides to bringing default back. People who use any other theme won't be affected, and if you dislike wynncraft theme and don't use it, why would this upset you? You can just continue to ignore it's existence and not use it.

Please. I know many people might not care, and might not even view this thread. I know that if this is re-added, many people might not use it. But I see no downside, so please, please, for people like me who like wynncraft theme, and want it back, please just vote yes. If you don't like it, just ignore it. Some people may think it's laughable that I'm making a thread about this. I just want my favorite theme back. This isn't the most logical argument, and it may seem silly, but I genuinely want this back. I was upset when I couldn't use default theme anymore, It felt unfair to me that I came back from an exhausting 8 hour school day, that I had to write pages upon pages, and I couldn't use my favorite theme. Just to be a little nice to people like me who want this back, just please say yes. It means so much to me.

Sidenote for dark themers: if WynncraftTheme is default again, less people will use light theme bc it won't be default anymore ;)

I don't get why people are going nuts over deleting a clone theme that didn't even work right. Why not just use Journey? It's pretty much the exact same thing, except it works to some extenct and is default anyways.

 

Journey honestly looks really messy in my opinion.
Note: everything I say from now on is based off of how the mobile website is since I’m writing this on a phone.

The arrow icons at the top and bottom that tell you which part of the forums you’re on go into each other.

The colour scheme is a bit weird and some icons/buttons are really hard to notice because they are too similar to their background. (For example the drop down menu at the top right)

The alerts and messages buttons are placed beside the menu button, but the profile button and log out button are inside the menu.

And if you’re going to remove the wynncrafttheme, at least tell us why. This makes no sense to me since it’s clearly a very popular theme to use.

 

Journey looks worse, the arrows on it don't work properly, and I think is brighter. And wdym wynncrafttheme didn't work? It always worked great for me. And I could swear wynncrafttheme was default.

Because dark theme bothers my eyes, and this new theme (light theme? I think... the one with the grey subforum text on brown background) is really annoying to use. It's like a mishmash of design patterns from various points over the last 15 years.

I think the overall theme here is that both should be an option. I've gotten used to Journey here, but I know know others don't like it so I'm supporting this.

Wording here heavily implies that it was purposefully disabled.

 

Or it could imply "hey, a website update made it so the them was disabled"
Also, note the use of "disabled" instead of "removed"

But I digress. If you want to keep arguing about the wording and what was and wasn't said, then make a convo with me. Let's not pollute the forums.

 

Official statement for now: it got disabled.
