[updated] Gathering Items Combining To A Better Tier [***] | 87.8% Community Approval

Gathering Items (Copper, Granite, Wood, Wheat, Paper, you name it) Combining like Powders
from 1* to 2* to 3*


So basically my idea is to combine the gathering items JUST like powders in game.
So if you combine 3 or 4 of the same tier and gathering item (Copper for example)
You can put them all together and it will upgrade it from a 1* to a 2*
Then if you want to upgrade to a 3*
Put 3 or 4 of the 2* copper into a merchant or crafting thing, and then it'll upgrade to a 3*.


THE NAME OF THE MERCHANT TO UPGRADE THE RESOURCES CAN BE NAMED

This seems like a pretty good idea. It would definitely buff crafted indirectly, while still not changing the actual process of gathering or refining. +1 support.

 

Full support, for all the reasons previously stated.

 

What about ingredients i would love to see a way to upgrade them maybe if you put four of the same ingredients it will upgrade them with a success chance this means if your crafting level is low it will be harder to upgrade.

 

Thats what gathering items are. xD
ANYTHING that can be used to make something.

Gathering items is wood and fish and ore and seeds not ingredients.
And what about the success chance?

Edit: What i was saying is add ingredients and maybe the success chance so that lower levels don’t get higher tier items easily.

 

Well true, but if you don't want to spend emeralds then the success chance can still be a thing.
Okay, to make it clear, we can upgrade ANYTHING that has a [* * *] in the name of the item.
if it doesn't then it won't be upgradable.

This may be good from a gameplay standpoint, and I support it, but I have to ask:
How is combining copper turn it into iron? And how will this NOT allow early-game players to create items that they can’t use?

 

No, you know how powders go from tier 1 - 6? All that changes is the power/defense level on it.
Copper obviously does not turn into Iron.
I mean tiers
1 star copper + another 1 star copper = 2 star copper.
Not a 1 star copper + 1 star copper = 1 iron.
That's not what I mean.
