Bring Back Lord Of The Clock!

This quest was great, I can't believe it was taken away. Best fetch quest I've ever done. Great refrences, has to come back. The wynn team are not adding any new quests, just redoing and removing the great old ones. Soon 8 old quests will be butchered with rubbish cutscens and too much boring "lore". We have to speak out against this, firstly by bringing back this classic!

 

The only thing you had to do in that quest was walk for a few kilometers until it was over. The only reason why people would want it back is its shoddy reference to Lord of the Rings. Also, no. While the team is revamping old quests for the sake of keeping new players and making the game have actual content, they are also making new quests for pretty much every single update.

If you want every single quest to be a walking simulator, that's fine. However, as most people agree, having unique quests consisting of actual content is the better thing to have.

 

Soon you will get 29 new miniquests which seem to be more of your taste.

 

Ah yes, the great walk, kill, collect, talk, ??? and profit quests. Those we're much better then the current well worked out quests that add to the story!

 

I would only want it back because that would mean more XP

 

You know, I actually kinda want some of the builds from the quest to come back. While the quest is pretty garbage, gundalf's place with the descending bookshelves was pretty cool.

 

Best and good are not mutually exclusive; you could say that Hitler was the best modern conqueror, but he certainly wasn't a very nice person.

A reference does not a good quest make. Especially a direct rip of a popular franchise.

I see people don't want it as much as before :(, I loved that quest. And personally I dislike the newer quests. I was never one for lore in many games, singleplayer games yes but multiplayer games? Never really seemed to click for me. Although some of the lore in Wynncraft is interesting MOSTLY ALL OF THE OLD QUESTS, I don't really enjoy it tbh. Wynncraft is my favourite MC server but they need to keep the old quests, what made it so special. I am not having a "dig" at any of the newer great content, just asking very nicely for the old ones to be brought back. Lord of the Clock was my personal favourite quest. I do admit it is a walking simulator (which people seem to dislike XD), but at any rate, it had the most impressive storyline I had ever seen in Wynncraft (except for the Headless hunt, that was geat to). I seem to be using brackets a tad too much, anyway...

Miniquests do seem like a incredibly good idea to me, thank you Robbe, but it doesn't take away the fact that the Wynncraft team purposely removed this quest to make way for the new spider dungeon one. I find this very dissapointing as I loved that quest. Although the majority of you (and god forbid my GUILD) disagree with me. The only thing left is to thank you for all of your inputs.

Please re-add the quest Wynncraft team, if only for some old cynics like me :)

If you don't like lore or interesting gameplay why don't you just grind mobs all day, cause that's what old Wynn was and what you say made it "unique".

You posted the exact same thread 10 months ago. Re-doing a post with a little more text doesn't help the fact that the quest was a boring fetch and walk quest with no true lore, just a LOtR reference that doesn't mean much.

Why is anyone liking this. This is exactly what I was saying, but people disagree with me becuase the majority of you haven't played the good 'ol Wynncraft

Good old Wynncraft? I definetly played the old wynn and it was garbage. The mayority of the time you spent was grinding. If you eventually got to a quest it was a boring fetch quest where you were also grinding or walking.

Most active people on the forum have been here before gavel, gameplay, and corkus. We all think LOTC is garbage fetch quest.
