World Rodoroc Quests

When I first went to rodoroc something that surprised me was that there were no quests in rodoroc or molten heights. I think quests could be added to Rodoroc and molten heights because all the other big territories like olux swamp, sky islands, llevigar plains, almuj desert, and troms jungle have plenty of quests so you can level up or whatever. so it just gives a feeling of... idk... but just that there isn't much to do there at all other than farming for mythics at freezing heights

 

it will probably come in new 1.18

 

most likely coming in 1.18, in the teaser cinematic we saw this place with lava when it said "new quests"

 

they've been working on this for awhile now i believe, and it' probably going to come out soon

When Gavel came out levels 91-94 where alloted for Molten Heights quests. Whcih where never added ofc

While there may be a possibility some new quests are coming to Roderec for the 1.18 update the lack of quest near the end game is an important part of what makes Wynncraft money. The large gap of quest between level 9o and level 95 forces you to grind a lot to make it to the final quest. While you can just grind for levels normally the most common way to gain these levels is doing CSST. Every CSST needs the host to buy Double XP bombs and Dungeon bombs. For the lowest price, you would need to spend about 10 US dollars for 4 Double XP Bombs which last 20 minutes each and 6 Dungeon Bombs which last 10 minutes each. If you perfectly timed the use of both bombs you could be done in 60 minutes with 1 Double XP bomb left. At the level of 90-95 and later 98-101 you gain XP very slowly and you will require many CSST's to level up once. While this does provide large areas like Roderec lackluster and questless it allows Wynncraft to make a lot of money off of Loyal players who want to get every class to level 101, or just want to finish every quest. The system that is in place now takes advantage of the completionist spirts of MMO players to drain their wallets for the completion of the game. I would like to clarify that this is not a bad thing that they are doing it is perfectly reasonable and ethical to do this seeing how this game is completely free to play and almost nothing that you can buy benefits you in game and all things that do benefit you in game are also given to everyone on the server. Seeing how it is a free to play game the "pits of grinding" as I like to call them are a necessary evil that will cause Roderec to be questless for some time. I would guess that they will not give Roderec quest until they raise the level cap. The sad truth of this is that they likely won't raise the level cap until either Dern or Fruma are added to Wynncraft and even once they raise the level cap and give Roderec quest there will just be another large location on the map with little to no quest. I love Wynncraft and I love to support them in any way I can. I also really want to emphasize that this practice is not uncommon with free to play games and I am not hating on the Wynncraft team for doing this in any way. In a perfect world, they wouldn't need funding to make an amazing server like Wynncraft function and prosper but they can't work 24/7 for no pay. I can't wait to see what amazing things they come up with next to grow their server.

 

In the economy update rodoroc will receive more quests and lore.
