World [better Idea] /showcase Command [v1]

Explanation

Alright, you guessed it by the title, we should have a /showcase command, the reason I am suggesting this is because this command will save us the time to show everyone what ids it has on it with trading, and it will save us more time so we don't have to do screenshots of the item and its identifications. Just by simply
typing /showcase while you have the item you want to show in your hand, will show up on chat with the following message. The underlined word means that you can hover over the item, and while your cursor is over the underlined word, it will show the GUI of the item. And if someone wants to buy it, they can just simply announce "I'll buy it" or something.

Cool down Between Usage

After every use of /showcase, you will have to wait 3 minutes (180 seconds), until you can use the command again. (Prevents spam)



Benefits of /showcase

1. /showcase will save you time to show everyone in /trade in game 1 by 1
2. /showcase will save you time from screenshotting the item and then posting it on the forums waiting for people to respond.
3. It will be a lot faster and a lot easier.
4. Good for the Economy Update




I know this is not much, but really, this command really does not require so much.

I think they will implement it in the new update.
After all it is the Economy Update.

Though I think this is a pretty good idea, I personally think something like a marketplace or auction house is a better idea. It would allow you to show multiple items for a longer time and it could be used to take some emeralds out of the economy while people are trading.

No, i like using the forum for trades. On the forum, you can see everything about that item and you can compare it to other items.

 

The trades on the forums would still be a thing its not like it's gonna be deleted.

 

You can get scammed very easy. Speak more on Discord. Just tag @ImUnlord

 

So showing people your item's stats makes it easier to scam ok.

 

Yes because you can request 2 le for a very poor item. The price verification thread is very usefull.

The cooldown is kind of long. it should be lowered the higher rank you have so you are more "thrustworthy" not to spam it. From what I know there is alredy a plugin called [item] which does exactly that but not with a command, y ou type [item] in chat and it shows the item you hold in your hand , if there is no item , it shows your hand in a funny way. Yea good idea think should be added. +1

 

Then the cool down can be 8-10 seconds instead of 3 minutes. Sound good?

This is straight from another server I know.

 

You can’t just say it’s from another server, many servers use it and many mmorpgs use it, it’s unfair just to say “it’s from another server”

 

Higher rank doesn't mean you're more "trustworthy". It just means that you are more willing to part with your money on a digitial pasttime.

 

I assume he means that it makes you more cautious not to get any warnings or bans since you're not willing to part with the money you just spent.
