Texture Pack Crashing My Game

So I just re downloaded minecraft after not playing for like 3 years and decided to come back to my favorite server wynncraft. I was greeted with a prompt telling me that the was a server resource pack i needed and it asked me if i wanted to automatically download it right then and there so i clicked yes. Then my game crashed. Now I do have a server resource packs folder and i have gotten the server to work without the pack by clicking no when it asks about the download. so how can i get this fixed because i would like to play it with the pack since i originally played before the pack was around.

Great! Now i know not to use 1.13, but which version should i use then?

 

Usually 1.9-1.12 are the least buggy versions

 

well ive tried a few other versions and so far my game is still crashing when i click yes to download the resource pack any other helpful suggestions?

 

Have you tried the other things in Salted's thread?

 

Maybe I'm just stupid, but this looks like it should belong in the Bug Report section.
