Website & Forums Change Criteria For Media Tag

Right now, from what I see, some of the people with the Media tag haven’t even uploaded a Wynncraft video in ages. Some people, who have their entire fucking channel devoted to Wynncraft (cough cough @YYGAYMER @LordMuttonChops) but they don’t have the tag. I believe that the criteria should simply be “your last video on your channel must be related to Wynn OR you must have at least 10 videos related to Wynn”. This way people don’t just randomly get the tag, but people actually have to play Wynncraft to get it.

TL;DR YYGAYMER and Roi for Media Tag

You make this sound like the criteria should only be making Wynn videos. I think it should a combined amount of views or subs along with having a good amount of wynncraft videos.

One person only has one wynn video, and that was more than 2 weeks ago.

 

There’s need to be more proper criteria or else anyone could make a few really shitty wynncraft videos and get the tag

 

Even though icebreaker doesn't do wynncraft and is working on a game, he has several consistent quality wynncraft videos. I think @icebreaker should keep his tag.

 

I can't personally say whether people should keep or not keep their tag if they already have it. I don't watch enough wynncraft youtubers to have an opinion. (mostly because I haven't been able to find any)

Yeah I agree, you should have subs and views l. You don’t want every kid that records episode 1-20 of their play through to have media

Im still uploading wynncraft videos btw from time to time, and that doesnt force me not to upload any other content.
Also , the game i worked on was just so i can practice code and see what can i do with my coding skills. And by then , i decided to share some of my creations through my channel.

The only Wynncraft thing you uploaded recently was a shitpost.

 

We usually try cleaning old Media rank players and Media tag doesn't give any in-game advantages, it's only purpose is so youtubers can hide from fans stalking. That means: If a youtuber doesn't have a big ammount of subscribers there won't be people stalking/not letting them play = No reason to give media rank.

 

Roi deserves media because one time I was in a video of his, so I'd be famous too :3
