Classes: The Soldier (925+ Supporters) - Updated To 1.1.4 Stats!

Only thing is it's gotta be from fruma but I enjoy the idea.

after 5 years of only having 4 classes I think adding another one would be a huge shock and not everyone would like it because its suck a big change to the game

I’m gonna be honest, all the new classes are all either too similar to existing ones or impossible one can argue all the spells are different but like shaman =mage, soldier = warrior. If you really want a new class go to the dnd fundamentals, there are only 5 classes, mage, fighter, rouge, ranger, and bard. So please stop making these these suggestions and MAKE A BARD CLASS FOR FUCKS SAKE

You can never make a 100% unique class.

 

That is why I was saying make a bard class, it is one of the 5 core dnd characters like soldier is basically warrior

So your way of attack is playing a catchy tune?

If you really want a bard class, make your own suggestion and make it make sense.

 

dosent just play a tune and hope they fall asleep, you would know this if you’ve played dnd or looked it up

 

Then, how do they attack?
Uses knife/sword - assassin with a banjo
Uses bow - archer with a banjo
Uses spear - warrior with a banjo
Uses magic - mage with a banjo


This thread explained perfectly why solider is a viable idea-

When warrior, you are this brave person charging head first into a field of enemies with only a weapon
When soldier, you’re a more cunning, inteliegent strategist, always with a plan.

That sounds like a big enough difference to me.

Also, here’s every class, soldier + bard abstracted

Guy with a bow up in trees
Guy with a dagger sneaking up on enemies
Guy with a spear charging at enemies
Guy with a wand casting strong magic
Guy with an axe making cunning strategies
Guy with a musical instrument and a weapon?

Keep in mind you’re a recuit from Furma. Why would an army recuit be a bard? It makes no sense.
(May be biased as bard sounds stupid)

I mean don’t the the soldiers use spears and the warriors mostly use axes? Soldiers using axes are kinda weirds

Well, we'd have to invert what weapons the Warrior uses right now, and that would just be a huge pain, y'know.

 

How are bard rogue and ranger core and classes. Bard is just more of a support caster, rogue is a sneakier version of fighter and rander is kind of a fighter druid combination.
