So I main as an archer, and as we all know archers are fairly squishy... so what does that mean? That means I need to have basically at least half an inventory of potions if I'm going to be doing anything, whether I'm just running around, doing a loot run, doing quests, and doing wars. (I'm a fire build btw, my defense is not a problem)
Now don't get me wrong, I love the health potion system where it has 3 drinks instead of just one, but I feel as if it could be improved further.

Instead of being able to buy individual potions that don't stack with only 3 drinks, each player will have access to some sort of potion bottle (Glass bottle).
This bottle is refillable, and as you level up your bottle upgrades to carry more drinks. When you run out of drinks, it would turn into your refillable glass bottle instead of disappearing like they do now.

As you may already know, there is a new potion every 5 levels (with increased health)
Every 5 levels, the merchant could tell you he's come up with a better brew of potion, however it will be more expensive. You'll then buy the potion for a slightly higher price as you normally would, and it would fill up your bottle.
Instead of buying bottles of potions, you would basically be buying sips of potions if that makes sense.
Every 10 levels you could unlock an upgrade to your bottle to carry more sips. The bottle would max out at being able to carry 20. (This number is subject to change)....(Probably would have to pay for a space increase, similar to how banks are done)

You would also be able to buy multiple of these magical potion bottles, so at a lower level you're not punished for having limited amount of potion drinks, but it would be more expensive than an individual drink itself.

***The bottle would have a level requirement when upgraded
The bottle when filled with potions would also have a level requirement as it does now.
You cannot give a max potion bottle to your lower level class to refill.

    What problems does this solve?
    - Less inventory clutter
    - A more efficient way to use your potions (you don't have to grab more from your inventory once your hot bar runs out)
    - You don't have waste money on potions you may end up throwing out, they will be used!

    TL;DR
Instead of having potions that are always 3/3, make it so they can eventually upgrade to carry more drinks to eventually be something like 20/20 to avoid a cluttered inventory, in a single refillable bottle.

This idea is absolutely not perfect as of right now, but if you do think it has potential PLEASE suggest what could be better rather than just completely shutting it down, or tell me why it sucks

It's a decent idea but it doesn't seem needed to me, as you point out yourself due to the 3/3 health pot thing. If you're going to have health pots on you at all, it is very rarely going to be a problem in terms of having other things in your inventory, so inventory space to me isn't much of a problem with health pots. One interesting point I will note though is that you said you're an archer and you need a ton of pots more compared to others. I usually have the same amount of health pots on my archer as my assassin (warrior would have some but I use melee ignition so it's not needed and mage has heal spell so I mean), so just because you're archer doesn't mean you immediately need more hp pots

Archer and assassin need a decent amount of health pots. I usually use a bit less on my assassin, but I haven't been playing assassin recently so I didn't bother comparing archer to it.
Warrior usually doesn't need as many potions, and mage might carry a few if anything. The generic archer usually carries a decent amount of potions

The point I'm trying to make is lack of inventory space rather than archers needing more potions. You would be able to carry the same amount of potions as you normally would, but with more inventory space, something that mages don't have a problem with (potions cluttering their inventory)

I really like this, you don't know how many times I've been grinding on my archer, then a legendary dropped and I miss it because my inventory is full of potions
Also it's more realistic than the current system, which is always a nice touch.

I second this. Inventory space is not really an issue when you're going into combat, but it's a QoL change that you can only benefit from.

This sounds like the system from Path of Exile, where your "flask" is a legit equipment piece that gives good stuff. I like the idea, but I feel like it's missing something. Being able to just use this pot over and over because it has 20 uses seems weird.
Also "potion swapping" feels legit and that idea kinda breaks that mechanic?
Maybe a longer cooldown on these would do, or just them being weaker and costing way more

Which is the other point I brought up that you ignored when you responded to me but like Flare said
I wouldn't care if it got added or not, just that to me it doesn't seem like it needs to be added, but if it does ^you can only benefit from it

Like the idea, I find it annoying when I can’t carry anything with so many potions in my inventory :/

oh my lord imagine if we created a potion called stimulent and it would give rainbow skill potion effects to evolve it more but you have to combine the potions you want to make your own stimulent

    +1 support :D

    As a side note
I've love to be able to stack same lvl potions together in a crafting table - idk if it would be op or not though

    For example
    2/3 + 1/3 = 3/3
    1/3+1/3 + 2/3 = 4/4

    And then ones above x / (y > 3) can't be stacked in a crafting table

so the highest possible x/y potion by crafting would be
    3/3 + 3/3 + 3/3 + 3/3 = 12/12

YES! This is actually a good idea i was presented with by a friend of mine, but basically elaborated a bit more. Honestly, this would be great too.
The other potential option someone had messaged me about was maybe just different potion tiers that you can buy such as a Lvl 100 T1 which is 3/3, T2, 6/6, T3 9/9 with increased price for each tier

There's so many better potion ideas that are branching off of their current system. I just hope something is added.

When you go into combat though you do worry about inventory space. When grinding mobs, you're eventually going to need to use potions. Not everyone enjoys grinding by just standing there and clicking mindlessly. People also kill mobs for items, and as someone stated on here they hate missing legendary drops because their inventory is filled with potions. There's a lot of things that don't need to be added, but there's also a lot of stuff that should be added to improve enjoyability of playing. Back before the Gavel update you didn't have to use potions to survive. Now they're a must in order to survive for archers (and assassins...) We've had inventory space given to us by removing the stack of arrows everyone had to have in order for archer to work properly way back before the bow became automatic. We've also had inventory space given to us by the increased bank size. Did we need it? No. We aboslutely LOVE it though. So what's wrong with yet again, more additional space given to us <3
I had no idea what would happen to skill potions if this came to be a thing... However, I do see a good idea sparking from this ;)
