It won't work. and I honestly would find it hard to use considering all the features you're asking for would break the game.

Doing that without tweaking a lot of the minecraft code for maps is pretty much impossible. About mods, wynncraft doesn't really approve of third party mods.

You could just do a custom map
    To every idiot [Including OP]
who thinks they are discussing a block by block thing, no

You can just do big colored squares to show areas, and then toggle to zoom into areas.

It's probably not important but it works

Or just download a minimap mod. That’s probably the best solution.

Don't quote me on this but I believe minimap mods are not allowed, and if they are they cant show mobs I believe. Confirmation would be nice ^^

What if the map only showed the area you were in? Anyone know if that would be possible?

Ok actually this may be possible using an alias, hear me out. You wouldn't have tracking or anything fancy, but you could temporarily display a zoomed out version if the entire map that takes up the full screen or part of it. Basically, what you would do is take a screenshot if the map or whatever image you want to display, and replace (in the rp) a certain unused character like ¥ or ₩ and replace it with the screenshot and do some fiddling to resize it so it takes up the screen how you want. Then have a title command that displays that unused character (which now displays as a map photo) on the screen using /title. Then alias the command yo some thing like /map and it might work, I haven't tested but in theory.

While this is a good idea in theory, it wouldn't work: they would have to account for every possible resolution and GUI scale. Keep in mind that even if we assume you only use one scale and resolution dimensions from 400-900), they would have to account for 250000 resizings (and we can't resize these models in-game short of making an official mod: textures simply don't work like that). Considering that not everybody uses the same GUI scale, uses the same resolution, and has the same monitor, the never would be much larger than 250000. In fact, if we assume that all 4 GUI scales are used and resolution ranges from 300-2000 (much broader, but still too small of an estimate), we will have 11560000 images. Considering that a picture is about 1KB, this would be 11 GB. At this point, the resource pack would take a very long time to install (and even those who could would probably not be willing to). Additionally, assuming each screenshot takes 10 seconds to resize, this endeavor (4 GUI, 300-2000) would take 3.6 straight years (less if mutiple people were doing it) of doing nothing but resizing images.

And that is not even to mention: if somebody did some data mining and found this unused character, couldn't they just copy paste it to flood the chat with screenshots?
