Guide Fixes To Common Bugs/glitches/issues In Wynncraft

Hey there, got stuck on a quest or can't connect to the server? Well, I'm here to help you today.

You see, in the official Wynncraft Discord server we get a lot of the same questions every day, so why not make a thread about some of them?

Let's get straight into it.

1. Stuck in a dungeon or quest.

- If you're stuck in a dungeon and can go back to repeat the previous stage, do that. The same applies to quests.
- If an NPC or boss isn't spawning, try re-logging or switching servers.
- If neither of the above works, do /kill and redo the entire quest or dungeon.
- If you went into a portal and got teleported outside the map, type /kill as soon as possible, or use a teleport scroll if you have one. Getting caught outside the map will inevitably get you banned.
- If you're having issues with the new quests from the 1.17 update, please take a look at this thread by jpresent.
* Please keep in mind that, as I'm writing this, some quests are currently broken, mainly because of the recent upgrade to Minecraft version 1.13. Sometimes just switching back to 1.12 or earlier will fix most, if not all of your issues.

Now I know what some of you that got stuck and rushed to the forums only to find this thread might be thinking: "Seriously? I have to /kill or re-do an ENTIRE quest/dungeon because of the Staff's OWN FAULT?"

Sadly, yes. But please do keep in mind that, that same Staff made an entirely different game out of MINECRAFT, which has its own limitations, so it's hard not to have frequent issues.

2. Can't connect to the server.

Sometimes, just restarting your game or using an older version (if you're playing on 1.13) will fix this issue. If that is not the case, though, try connecting to the following IP:

node7.wynncraft.com

Now, I don't know why this IP solves so many issues, but my best guess would be that all the other IPs redirect to this one, which they sometimes fail to do for whatever reason, and by using this one, you're directly connecting straight to the server.

If neither of the above work, the server itself might be having some difficulties.

3. Can't hear Minecraft sounds.

Alright, now this isn't exactly a Wynncraft problem directly, but it's quite common, so I decided to include it here.

Fixing this issue is actually quite simple, just press F3+T at the same time while in-game. This will reload your resource packs, which usually fixes the problem.

I expected that yeah. Though, I never see them on the front page so I decided to make another one.

Another solution is to change your mipmap levels (video settings -> mipmap levels) and put it back to normal. This works everytime

 

Only OptiFine users can do that. Also, it takes way longer than just pressing F3+T.

You can also fix the sound problem by changing texture packs or changing your language.

 

Yeah, F3+T literally turns your resource pack on and off.
