Make Models For The Swords (21 Supporters)

there is nothing as stressful as seeing everything with fully working models and then seeing these dumb zombies with their 2D swords
also dont ask why i got faithful
but yeah i want these things to have a model because everything's got a model for weapon (most of the time) and this thing doesnt

I do think they should get a texture, but not a model. Swords are flat, like said above, so what exactly would we make 3D about it? But changing the texture to look, well, better, I'm all for that

 

idk man im pretty sure the handle has more than 2 dimensions

 

Uhhh yes partially they just didn t change swords at all even in 2d it doesn't fit with artwork and style plus 1

Swords aren't just flat...
You have the the handle, pommel, and the cross guard.
Of course the blade itself can have some level of thiccnes to it.
And please don't forget that 4/6th of assains weapons at level 100 are all swords.

That's not agreeing with this post by the way, just swords aren't flat. Like not even on a level of most of them simply looking flat, many of them design that lead to an obvious width no matter how you look at it.

this level of detail is unnoticeable and unnecessary when there's real features to be worked one

also, again it wasn't at all a defense for the thread, just swords aren't flat.

Ps, neither of those are real.
Not that they weren't or aren't existing swords, but neither of the pictures you showed are actually real.
