General Changing The "cannot Use Weapon" Message

As a mage, when you try to use an item that isn't a wand, etc. it says "Item is not a Mage Weapon. You must use a [bold]stick[/bold]. Instead of saying stick it should say wand, or staff or something. This would've been fine before the texture pack change, but now none of the mage weapons can easily be identified as sticks.. Plus wand just sounds better.

 

This makes a lot of sense, I don’t think anyone even calls them sticks when trading, most people call them wands by now. Simple change, but it’s a nice one.

Would it be harmful if it didn’t give a message at all if a non-mage tried to use a wand? I’m for your suggestion too, it’s just that I find text boxes that can be easily spammed to be annoying. Sure you have to almost intentionally do it, but even if it appears once it’s slightly annoying. Idk. I’m probably just over thinking it.

 

I doubt this will be implemented because of how small a thing this is, but I've noticed it too. I want this to be changed, so good luck.

 

Probably not, although someone might thing that they’re using a weapon even when they’re not able to, do i think it’s best to have the message

 

All right. Sometimes I did mistake a dagger for a warrior weapon and vice-a-versa at first glance.
