I know it sounds un realisitc but i have came up with an idea to help possibly fix the economy. Now it has been suggested before that we use potatos or milk as a new currency and this gave me an idea. So this could be in either Dern or Fruma or both. Basically you have to transfer emeralds into whatever the local currency is (the transfer would be at the main bank similar to rymek)and we could make this currency something like 3:2 emerald to other currency exchange. Everything in these provinces would run on these currencies so it qould be a necessity to transfer emeralds to alternative. Furthermore, if we had item buyers and such give out this currency instead of emerald. (im not sure how this could be implemented im not good at that kind of stuff) It could also be useful if lets say if items costed the same there (lemme give you an innacurate proce wise visual) a level 90 health pot would cost 100 emeralds it would cost 100 whatever currency is. This help versify the economy and be a nice money sink. Now whats to stop someone from taking potions in from wynn/gavel and using those? We could add (and i think this goes well with the fruma thing) where you have to go through a sort of customs where if you have any foreign items (wynn/gavel unided items potions etc) (this excludes ided weapons and armour and emeralds)in your inventory they will be confiscated or you will have to pay a fine too take them in. Too stop people from transfering items through bank we could have this implemented in banks as well. (too make sure it doesnt confiscate you dern/fruma pots and items these can have a special tag in there name that shows they are fruman/ dernic (idk how to say names) this would show the system that is it Isnt too be removed. And well thats my idea please dont beat it up that badly this is like my first non shit post.

    - It wouldn't be a money sink if the currencies are equivalent.
    - Imagine having to pay tax on all of your items every time you entered/left Gavel. I'm sure you (and I) would go bankrupt. I bet once you got high enough level to go between the two a lot, you would rage quit because of how annoying it was.
    - "Customs" could be circumvented via scrolls or fast-travel-esque features.
    - What's even the point of an alternative currency with a lossless conversion rate? That's literally just emeralds but more annoying to use every time you want to make a purchase.

Please add a poll so I can -1 this.

I'm sorry, but this just seems like it would just be too annoying. In the end people will all just focus on getting as much of the other currency as possible and nothing could really change. I've always found the game relaxing and I don't want to have to micromanage multiple currencies while I'm just traveling around.

We just need to add durability to items that can be fixed with emeralds

    1. You dont have to pay the money unless you want to bring foreign items in
    2. Good point on scrolls... dont know how to fix that.
3.its 3:2 currency exchange rate so its 3 emeralds for every 2 other currency(it could be something else though)

Oh yes, because we use video games to escape reality and calm down, and enjoy reality but with a different paint over it.

Bureacracy should never be in a game unless it’s a key part of that game, and neither should micromanagment.

This IS EXTREMELY MICRO-MANAGY AND ANNOYING.
Also, fun fact, decreacing the amount of money in the market by a third changes nothing, as everyone loses that amount. This means that you earn a third less and pay a third less, so it changes nothing, only makes the sums smaller.

The thing people are doing is called criticism. No matter where you go on the internet, if you share an idea, people will bash it. If the idea has lots of flaws, they will bash more no matter if this is your first post or 476th post.

I didnt mean that in a serious sense i know its criticism which is mostly accurate and true. I was just thinking of ideas. Ooh i have another idea! Lets add housing to wynncraft it perfectly fits the theme. We could all sit in our houses, not do quests, and generally do nothing. Anyone else agree?

this really wouldn't fix the economy
if all the new currency can do is buy items from other province merchants, then it really isn't gonna make a big hit on the economy of players
all it does is makes it more confusing, but more or less the same.

People would want to ask for the most common currency in the game for items, because then they can attract to a larger audience
you aren't gonna make any sales if you said "Selling Thrundacrack for some Fruman rupeurenmlirdollasteryenfrandwons (whatever this new currency would be called)"
Also, this new system will only make buying items in one province more annoying
Say that the highest level potions are in fruma
well, if i want to get said potions, I would have to pay not only the price for the potions themselves, but also the transport fee
    that isn't very fair
and what if a mob dropped it
why should i be charged for something i picked up
what if i didn't even realize i picked up an item
    now your literally scamming me
also, if the currencys are equivalent (meaning if i exchange 3 emeralds for 1 fruma dollar, i can exchange the dollar back into 3 emeralds), then whats the point rather to confuse you

All in all, it won't do anything to the economy except maybe make some people loose money that they really shouldn't have lost and make it way too confusing
