Increase Player Count

-This will be a quick suggestion, I may write out a full suggestion, more in depth later.

-Wynncraft’s player count has been declining, and needs an update targeted towards the new players. While updates to smoothen gameplay are necessary aswell, a update that helps teach new players is needed. One small thing: limited running can drive newbies away.

The last thing is advertising. There needs to be more players seeing what Wynncraft has to offer. But before the advertising, Wynn should be restructured, and smoothened. I cannot type much more because my phone won’t let me see what I’m typing. So in conclusion, Wynncraft needs a better tutorial, and smoother gameplay to keep new players from being lost.
-Advertisments will be needed too
Once played count is increased, and stable, more content should be added (Provinces, Quests)

 

But we already have a tutorial, too much tutorials would be handholding the player, and that's not good game design.
Also, how would making the sprint bar unlimited make things better? It'd just make the game easy.

They've already announced that they're working on another update, you don't need to tell them.

 

I would like to see proof for that.

 

The majority of early level builds and quests have been fully revamped to fit the modern standards. In addition to this, discoveries have been added for a more rewarding experience. I doubt a single small thing such as limited sprint is going to ruin the entire game for someone. Simply saying "Increase player count", "Make a better tutorial" or "Smoothen gameplay" isn't helpful at all, if you don't even provide reasoning for why you find the current system bad.

I know this chart is only of the last 2 weeks, but it does display how the player count goes. You're obviously going to find more players on weekends, and less players during times where majority of players' timezones are either sleeping, at work or in school. As it has also been mentioned, wynncraft's player count also increases significantly during vacations.

 

Quality > quantity
Wynn doesn’t want to become something that only cares about how many people go on it

The toxic factions raider kids aren’t going to stay on wynncraft, and most of the forums, I feel, like that.
Advertisements would attract a wider audiance, including said factions players.
Also, limited sprint pushing away players?
We used to NOT have a sprint bar at all, so it IS a large improvement, plus we have scrolls, fast travels, horses, movement spells...
Also, in wynncraft, you aren’t supposed to sprint 24/7 and skip all mobs. IT IS NOT THE POINT OF WYNNCRAFT.
And lack of tutorials?
Wynn explains powders, elements, spells, horses, the puzzles are designed as if a 5-year old was solving them...
What? Do you want there to be tutorials like ”press W to go foward?” What wynn needs is more high-level content, not more needless tutorials and advertisements.

Giving constructive criticism doesn't mean people are getting mad. You on the other hand, cannot just make up false claims without any evidence to back them up, other than personal opinions.

This is a thread of the same vein that claimed (with no evidence) the player count was falling and the CT needed to fix it NOW.
It didn’t go over well because of the lack of positive responses and behavior from OP and the thread addressed a non-issue. We don’t need another one of these.

I wasn’t attempting to advertise. I was simply stating that the server still has active YouTubers within the community

 

even if you did not mean it, it's still advertising when you say "I make wynncraft videos." if you meant to say that the server still has active youtubers, you couldve said that without promoting yourself.

What do you mean with advertising?

So in conclusion, Wynncraft has a perfectly fine tutorial, you didn't give any examples as to how the content team should make the gameplay smoother, whatever that means, and you should probably actually suggest something before posting.
