New Arena System!

I am here to make a suggestion to Wynncraft that i personally think would really made it a lot more interesting. My idea is for an arena system. Basically every week you will get the option to participate in the arena. how it would work is everyone who wants to gets teleported into the game. you get matched up with a random person to go against. eventually it ends up with a 1 v 1. The winner would get a really cool reward. maybe something like... a nice weapon, xp, A "CHAMPION" prefix in chat.

 

Pvp is currently very broken, how would you address this issue?
How would this be balanced?
What would be the weapons that you can gain?
Is there any cost to participate?

 

I'm kind of new to wynncraft so would you mind explain how its "broken"?

 

Wynncraft isn't PvP based, but rather PvE or PvBoss, thus items would require a change between arena and not arena, for some items not to be overpowered in PvP but too bad in PvE/PvBoss

 

Well, one of the biggest problems is that the players' offensive power far outclasses their defensive power (the opposite is true of mobs, balancing it out). A lot of duels just consist of one person hitting one spell. Other than that it has some glaring issues like thorns and poison. You hit someone, you die.
