After reading this thread and the replies I thought about a way to implement something like raid dungeons. I know this has been suggested before, but the threads I found about this topics were just about "make extra hard bosses with 1.000.000 health that can oneshot most players", which I don't think would solve this problem.
    So here are my thoughts:

    1) Some general things
These raid dungeons should mainly, if not only consist of fighting, as for parcours it doesn't matter how many players you have and puzzles like the ???-color-maze are difficult to coordinate with too much players. The way how fighting stages in already existing dungeons work should also work with more players, but of course they should be larger (more room) and require more tokens.
Maybe the already existing Corrupted Dungeons could be reworked into raid versions as they don't feel any special right now. Also Legendary Island, as its designed as a challenge for several people but doesn't seem to work that well at the moment (the tokens for bosses should be replaced with instant teleporting like with dungeon bosses).
In addition, as the number of players entering a raid can vary widely, some numbers like the amount of mobs and boss minions, tokens required and the health of mobs (especially of the boss) could scale with the amount of players.

    2) The boss fights
Th problem with increasing the damage of bosses is that some people get oneshot while most players don't take damage at all, as the boss only attacks one target at a time. So instead of making the boss stronger, the boss fights should rely much more on minions. This way, the damage gets distributed among more players.
Also, instead of just spamming many weak minions like the Wybel minions, use less minions, but make them stronger (more damage, spells and much more health). The boss itself should also get much more health.

    3) How to coordinate these raids
The main problem is to get enough players for a raid at the same time. The only solution (besides making the rewards higher) I could think of is some sort of "Queue-system" similiar to what different minigame servers use. To enter a raid, you have to assign a queue at a central place like The Forgery. If a queue has enough players (for example 6 persons) across all servers, the raid will start within a few minutes and a server-wide shout will be sent to inform additional players and to allow signed up players to get ready. After that, all players in the queue will be sent to a seperate server like the War-servers.
To prevent lag there should be also a maximum amount of people, any additional players will be added to a second queue.

Thats all. I know I included no details like mob stats etc, but such balancing things require a lot of testing.

This is a good idea but the damage as well as the regeneration should scale. As the number of players increases, the health and regeneration should increase, while damage decreases. This way glass cannon builds can be used along side tank builds in a boss fight.

I like this, make all the minions a mini boss fight. Imagine Qira with nii guardians as the minions. That would be a lot more exciting then a bunch of tiny spiders.

There should be options to go with a group raid, world raid, or server wide raid. To many players in one place can cause a lot of lag.

I remember back before the gravel update there were these server wide swarm events. A message would go out to every world that a city was under attack. It was not very fun because all you did was spam spells atop of roofs, and watched your frames drop. If you fell of you were going to die.

I would agree, the damage of the boss shouldn't be too high, so that even glass cannons are able to survive as long as they don't get overwhelmed by minions, but why should the damage decrase with additional players? Each playstyle should be equally viable independent of the player count, so the damage each individual enemy deals should stay the same, although the number of enemys increases so the average damage per player stays also the same.
Maybe you could add a player maximum per raid, although I don't think they will be as crouded as the swarms as they are open every time.

We all agree with this and want this to be a thing. Add a poll so we can vote.

I haven't included a poll yet as I personally think that they tempt people to just click on a choice without explaining their opinion. But I see that often these explanations overlap, so I added one now.
