Secure Dialogues

i personally find it very annoying how many mobs spawn around npc's for quest,
most of the time i can't even focus on reading the text because i have to edefend myself all the time

a safe spot like a house is pure luxury,

so my idea would be that you don't get attacked while reading the instructions and storylines of quests maybe like you are behind a safe invisible wall or something

(like some quests put before you so you have to stay at a certain place)

 

That already exists.

When you talk to an NPC, hostile mobs will not attack you until the dialogue has ended. As soon as all the dialogue has finished, mobs will attack you again. Although dialogue does go pretty fast, so you will usually be attacked again before you are done reading the dialogue. But a simple solution for this would be to slow down NPC dialogue.

 

Tbh its already pretty slow if you dont spam click it.
I am 100% for speeding up cutscene dialogue tho

 

i guess you are a native english speaker then? at least for me and i'm not even that bad in english it is sometimes hard to keep reading the text at the same speed it appears. especially since i want to understand everything properly

 

What language do you speak? If you ever have trouble understanding, go to the wynncraft wiki it might have the quest in that language

 

As said before this is already a thing (Along with opening loot chests)
