Keep event servers, but make it so they can actually handle players. In these servers I feel that mobs shouldnt do damage, spells should not be usable, and effects cannot be used. This includes pets and disguises. Nothing will save in the event servers, so you cannot abuse the altered mechanics for whatever reason. This is mainly to reduce lag and help make it playable.

In addition to this, messages to and from anyone other than people running the events, such as Pepinho should be disabled, since people can send them to you to distract you, antagonize you, etc.

Further more, I feel that a mechanic for moderators that allows them to prompt a question or task, that displays to players in EVENT SERVERS, similarly to a shout, and then giving players the ability to send ONE reply (make make it so the # of replies can be set when mods use the command) so that the moderators can better sort them. In addition to this, maybe it can be made that there are clickable answers. For example, if the moderator did a command like /event tf Was wynn founded in 2013? the players would see the question in chat, and then below it would be the options [True] and [False]. By clicking on them, they input their answer.

When mods run the command, for them it displays the question and then a clickable chat button [Answers]. By clicking it, would open a GUI, etc that displays all the answers in order from first to last. Alternatively they can do /answers to see the previous question.

Maybe, in addition to this it could be made so that players could submit items as answers. So if the host did:
/event item What item is used to access the large meteor in the ??? quest, players could do /answer (or use a clickable button in chat) and click on an item in their inventory to submit it as an answer. It would not take the item, just show it as their answer. Then when pepo or whoever the host is does /answers they would see a gui of items (the one that player submitted) with their name and sorted in first to last order.

Anyways, I gotta go do stuff just wanteed to write this kthx bye <3

'Cause we totally have a magical button that upgrades the physical servers without paying a ton

    >Is abusable

Some spells, especially movement ones can often play an important part in events

Already a thing. Only for Pretz and admins though for all I know

    >Makes a mistake
    >Is permanently cucked
    >One shot, one opportunity, mom's spaghetti

In general, this would require an immense amount of new additions and changes to the main code for such a relatively small thing. Keep in mind, that while events are fully official, they aren't a core part of the game, but a nice extra to offer to the community.

Why not make it like nether where at the end, when the server closes or when you /hub you won nothing in terms of xp or stuff? neither lost anything if you dropped something

Otherwise your feedback seems really relevant ;)

It actually would depend on the event seeing if something might be abusable or not. If you didn't see on siegfried says we opened a server for 100 people so it's possible. While events aren't a main thing they are really important as they keep people waiting for the updates.
