This is a short suggestion, and considering that there are already thread locks, I don't feel like it should be too hard to implement.

What I am suggesting is an 'Admin indicator', an icon that appears on the right had side of a thread's title on a general page, like the 'general suggestions' page, that indicates if a admin or someone with significant power has seen it. There are many threads that just keep coming up, and for good reason, like the Item Locks thread that are recurring because people are annoyed that it hasn't been implemented. If there was a way to see (other than thread locks) that an admin had seen it and made a decision about whether or not it would be implemented in its current form, that would put a lot of people's minds to rest, it would also let us see what might be coming to the game, and help unseen threads with a fair amount of support get seen.

I'm suggesting an icon that appears on a thread to indicate that a Wynncraft admin or manager has seen and seriously (if shortly) considered a suggestions, in its current form. If significant changes are made to the thread, the icon will change color, indicating that it needs to be reevaluated.

    Hmm

    First part possible

Idk if the second part is possible with xenoforum or whatever this is powered by.

I also don't think it is needed.

Whenever an admin or CT see's a thread they usually comment

Just because an admin views a thread, doesn’t mean they like it. They could see a thread and then think “Oh, this idea is complete trash.” Also, how would it detect whether significant changes were made to a suggestion?

I get what you're saying. There should be an admin 'veto' that allows them to relocate the thread to a veto bin, for shitposts and other obnoxious posts, or things that will never in a million years come to Wynn (cars). As for significant changes, I'm still ironing that out

    No, here's why :

When an admin sees a thread, they can have different reactions, just like anyone else :
    I like this, I don't like this, I don't care about this.

If you add something like that, people that make suggestion that an admin doesn't like, but still viewed will make the thread owner be like "OMG ITS GOING TO BE IMPLEMENTED" no matter if it is going to be or not.

Also, admins never say wether or not they are going to implement something into the game, because it may end up not making it into the game, and ruin people's hope.

Also, if you are going to say "Well, then they can put that they saw it only if they like it"
That's making it even worse, see the hopes thingy I talked about earlier, and thus will be totally unused...
Also, likes/votes and messages exist too, if an admin want to say that it will be implemented, or at least that they really like the idea, they can :
Leave a like on the thread
Vote "yes" to the poll to if that should be added or not
Post a message on the thread.

For all these reasons, I don't think it will, neither should be implemented.

    No, this would not work.
As brought up before, an admin seeing a thread is not the same as liking the idea.
Suggestions that are brought into the game are usually changed a lot. This could bring a lot of false hype. If an admin 'ok's some suggestion, then hype would be built for that specific suggestion. When (and it is when) the suggestion is changed drastically, that would leave a lot of people feeling betrayed by the CT. And an admin liking a suggestion isn't the same as having the suggestion appear in the game.

These cannot be in the game due to how the code works (even though everyone wants it). The dev team will have to complete the code refractor for such a suggestion to be added. The reason that it keeps being brought up is because people do not know about the criteria for adding item locks (the code refractor).
