Game Design Chain Lightning

This is a thing where probably everyone will agree.

The Chain Lightning ability needs a buff, it is way too weak.

Maybe the Damage could get a buff...

If anything this move is pretty balanced, pretty good at clearing areas with high mob spawns. If anything its boring on op but that's just my opinion.

 

doesnt need to be thunder only
archer has lots of good chain weps tho like magnus, island sniper lol, stinger and it prolly isnt terrible on cruster either
the bow doesnt need to be thunder based to use chain tbh

i mean i guess i can agree with this
chain lightning is fucking useless on fast attack speed weps cus it relies on the damage a single melee hit deals, which isnt a lot on fast weps cus they get their dps from the frequency of hits
so fast wep chains should get some kinda buff imo but slow weps are fine

also a bit of a side note but the trigger chance for life/mana steal should be the same regardless of attack speed when using chain

 

You think that Chain Lightning is bad? Try Wind Prison

 

doesnt mean chain doesnt deserve a buff for at least faster attack speeds

Yea for the thunder special you would think it would be something like super low damaging hits and super high damaging hits but its pretty much just below average, from what I can tell. The just keeps saying its not bad and not explaining how it works except saying its suppose to be used for slow attack speed items.
