As for some time (probably since EULA was enforced), the gold coin system has been dead. My idea will help the revival of this mysterious (and almost unused) currency. My suggestion is when a player reaches level 101, they get 10 - 20 gold coins to spend.
This amount of gold coins will not be overpowered as it can only buy one (or two) global shout(s). You would need 5 (or 2.5) level 101s to buy a dungeon bomb . sketch-1521531741639.png
I will happily take criticism for my first time suggestion.

(Ill fix grammar issues later, I typed this on my phone)

I don't think EULA allows premium items be purchased by in game obtainable resources. Don't get wynncraft in trouble please :)

I'm pretty sure EULA counts item bombs , shouts etc as donations or non p2w purchases. I think this is allowed (no idea though). Thank you for your opinion

As much as I like the idea of being able to obtain items that can be obtained via irl currency, it just feels off a bit. I think there are some balancing issues and some ethical issues with this suggestion.

    5 main reasons:
    - Level 101 as an easter egg loses its meaning.
    - Community will definitely not be happy about the idea
    - Giving them GC as a reward is bad game design. Giving them something that, once used is used, for tears of hardwork.
    - Level 101 is obviously temporary.
    - The reward for Level 101 right now is subtle but flawless.

Level 101 is also supposed to just be an easter egg and bragging rights. Other than the 2 extra skill points for that particular class, it would seem like sloppy game design, to add an "incentive" to grind all the way to Level 101. There is also the issue about people who already have Level 101 classes, do they miss out on the opportunity? Seems unfair. There are better ways at thanking the player for their journey all the way to Level 101.

And if they ARE going to implement this concept, when they announce it, there will be a heavy backlash from the community, especially for players who just leveled up a Level 101 class, or players who are no where close getting to Level 101. It does not matter if it is a big or little advantage. People would not be happy, although not something I can explain why, I would predict it has something to do with "unfair advantage". Even if it can be argued that it is not an unfair advantage, it looks to be an advantage, explaining that it isn't to a thousand of players is unrealistic.

Grinding up to Level 101 can also be very hard for players, especially for the players who only spend only weekends playing the game. Since GC is a consumable currency - not a permanent one - Once it is used up, it is gone. You poured days on that one class alone, an extremely long and boring process, and used it all on some dungeon bombs. Once the party is over, you think to yourself, "Well, that was fun while it lasted". It does not matter if you gain lots of GC or little GC. Either way, using GC will feel like an extreme loss. It is best to leave a feature that is already dead. Mind you - grinding to Level 101 may be easy now with CSST, but when they nerf or remake CSST in the future, would it still be?

It also limits the devs behind the team - How will they explain when they want to have a new level cap? Do we remove the feature, or do we move it to say, the new easter egg level - Level 126? Either way, it feels awkward implementing this when it clearly holds only as an easter egg, which is obviously due to change. I wouldn't even suggest making a new Level 101 easter egg when the cap is moved since it would feel unoriginal.

Generally, people would think that giving players a reward for their hard work is always a good thing. This is not the case. Level 101 is something special. It isn't something you can go "congratulations, have some GC!" Right now, the system communicates the reward of Level 101 in a very subtle manner, but also flawless. It gives the player 2 more skill points, and their tag of being Level 101. That's it. It is such a beautiful reward because it does not feel awkward, and the player would feel meaning for wasting their life on Wynncraft. No amount of crates or dungeon bombs can convey this feeling. It would only ruin it.

This is prohibited by the EULA, as any item that can be bought with real money cannot, by any means, be earned ingame.

There are much better games with much lower level caps.
