World Dungeon Hoppers

I was just wondering if it is at all possible for there to be an area in the places where you deposit your items for the slay challenges where you cannot be attacked. I know this has a lot of potential to be abused but the current situation is so annoying. In the Ice Barrows dungeon I had multiple STACKS of the dungeon tokens but the monsters kept attacking me so it took a long time to get through the room. Or just lower the spawn rate in that room. The one with the blocks of ice and snow.

There are multiple ways to quickly drop items in a hopper without having a horde of mobs on you. For Assassin(which is likely the class you attempted Ice Barrows on), vanish over the hopper, go in your inventory and toss the items out of it. Doing this on your hotbar rather than the inventory will cause you to leave Vanish and mobs will aggro on to you.

But you're level 74; you should be able to handle it.

 

Just take a few hits while throwing them in

 

Honestly I don't know why all dungeon coppers can't just be like The Tower of Ascension/Qira Hive token collectors. Maybe it's something to do with the way they can/can't trigger command blocks, but it would eliminate problems due to hopper clogging and the risk of dropping something precious into the hopper.

And, as per your suggestion here, since it would instantly take the required tokens from your inventory, no need to grab and toss from your inventory and get hit in the process.

 

Those are quest NPCs as far as I'm concerned. It takes special stuff to allow that to happen in a dungeon.
