    Hey c;

    Let me start this off by saying I have very limited experience in programming, so in that regard it might not be implementable.

    » For some context:
    When adding two Tier IV (or higher) powders of the same element to a weapon, you activate that weapon's 'charged special'. When hitting enemies with melee attacks, (percentage) points are gained towards charging the special, until 100% is reached.

    This new identification I have in mind would then increase, or decrease, the amount of charge gained from melee attacks, as such (two variations):
    - Charge Gen: Adds a percent value to each instance of charge earned;
    - 'Raw' Charge Gen: Adds a raw value to each instance of charge earned.

    Yeah, the name is a bit iffy but that's arguably the least important part.

    » How this would work (and a few calculations):
    Not every weapon earns the same amount of charge per hit - it is dependent on the weapon's speed. No documentation seemed available regarding that, so I found the following (approximate) values:
    * Super Slow: 39.00 points/hit
    * Normal: 9.75 points/hit
    * Fast: 8.00 points/hit
    * Super Fast: 4.62 points/hit
    Please note that not all speeds are covered due to me not having the required weapons/powders.

    Assuming the values for attack speeds found here, the amount of (maximum) charge gained per second [points/hit * hits/s] is:

    * Super Slow: 19.89 points/s
    * Normal: 19.5 points/s
    * Fast: 20.8 points/s
    * Super Fast: 18.48 points/s
    (I'm not sure why they're not all equal, perhaps the attack speeds are off)

    » Percentage vs. Raw
    Say, a player has the ID Charge Gen on one of their items, with a value of +50% (a lot, but just for this example's sake). When having a weapon with Super Fast attack speed, the charge rate will increase with (4.62*1.50*4) - 18.48 = +9.24 points/s. In case of a Super Slow weapon, this increase would be (39*1.50*0.51) - 19.89 = +9.945 charge/s. These two values are roughly the same

    The same example, but this time the ID adds a raw value of +5. The Super Fast weapon would gain an additional +20 charge/s ((4.62 + 5)*4 - 18.48) - however, now the Super Slow weapon only gets a +2.55 increase in charge/s. Clearly this ID is very much biased towards faster attack speed weapons, so a player will be more incentivised to play with such a weapon.

    As such, I'm proposing two options:
    1. The Charge Gen ID can be changed to be the raw ID's inverse, by supplying an additional multiplicative weight (higher weight for slower weapons).
    2. Only implement the (regular) Charge Gen ID.

    Option 1 seems interesting (to me) as having one of these two IDs might steer the player towards a different playstyle. However, option 2 ensures the balance between the different attack speed tiers isn't lost.

    »Why do I want to see this in Wynncraft?
    I like seeing variance in playstyle. Being able to build a playstyle around a (relatively) new mechanic seems exciting and might change the current hierarchy up a little. Plus, I do see the charged special as a bit of a fifth spell, so it would be neat to give it some more attention.

    Thank you for your time!

    Please do give feedback where applicable.
