Dungeons Fallen Factory Quality Of Life Suggestions (59 Supporters)

    As of right now, Fallen Factory is the most annoying dungeon. Partially for its length, and partially for its bugs.
    The bugs should be fixed, yes. but that takes time. (there is a tldr at the bottom)

    So here, I'll cover a few issues of FF that can be subsituted for less laggy, glitchy, and overall better things.

    First issue that comes to mind: the elevators.
    The elevators are poop and are glitchy and sometimes you clip through the bottom and fall.
    A simple and honestly way better alternative is to make the little box a tp box.
    You step in, it tps you to the next floor. it might look weird but lets face it would you rather have asthetically pleasing glitchy poo, or a smooth parkour section?

    Second issue that comes to mind is the conveyor belt.
    I get it. it's supposed to be long and slow. But it's just a big pain to sit through a slow fire wall and stuff.
    A better solution is to make the hella weak mobs that spawn in there minibosses. the arena will be in the conveyor belt, however only a certain section, and the rest will be blocked off by barriers.
    there could be a total of 2 or 3 minibosses, and they all drop a jamming core.
    what the jamming core could do, is that a hopper could be located under one of the tools, and it can break the front barrier, and when arriving at the next one, u can tp into the next box via tripwire, and this repeats for like 2 or 3 bosses.
    It would probably be longer, but its better than waiting like a year for the conveyor to cycle

    Third issue that comes to mind is the dog house.
    So when the house unfolds, its sort of an animation that glitches out at the bottom and it looks weird.
    drop the animation, just do smoke particles and instantly make the walls drop.

    Also, idea noted by @Satakakel
    Fix or at least simplify the door animations at the beginning of the dungeon and dungeon entrance

    TLDR:
    -Make the elevators TP areas that tp the player to the next floor
    -change the conveyor belt to a series of minibosses
    -Fix the dog house unfold animation or simplify it
    -Fix/Simplify the doors at the beginning/entrance

    the only reason i don't do ff is because of the conveyor

    like seriously at the end of it there's no way to avoid the damage from the firewall cause it bugs out and stays until you walk by it yourself

    so yeah i wish it could be changed

    I like the dog house and elevator idea, but with the conveyor belt idea, I think that should stay the same. You said with mini-bosses it would take longer. I would rather go faster even if it is boring, as more runs can be done. If there are mini-bosses and it is shorter, then definitely.

    Or maybe just a simple walking section with no fire barriers, but mobs spawn along the way.

    another thing about the conveyor belt is that it might be broken

    like im doing it, and none of the hammers or buzzsaws are doing anything, when they clearly should be.

    not only do they do nothing but from the last time ive seen them work they dont even do that much damage to be lethal at all during that portion of fallen factory

    Lol it shouldnt do lethal damage, I'd rather not have the longest and most annoying dungeon have an insta-kill machine that sometimes moves and sometimes doesn't. I only really run the dungeon for its item exchange since there's some decent stuff in there.

    I've actually never had a clip-through problem with the elevators in my prolly 30+ times runs through the Factory. It is a bit annoying though when a dungeon partner rushes ahead and takes the elevator in front of me, forcing me to wait. :/

    As for the conveyor idea, it would just be simpler to make the firewalls in that section move faster, and be spaced further apart in response to that. Changing the firewalls would also be a lot less work for the build team to implement than changing the flow of the room completely with tiered enemy progression. (similar to the ice walls in Ice Barros.)

    The doghouse seems like a bit of a niche problem but eh, it could save a few seconds if changed.

    One completely new idea I'd add to this thread would be to increase the XP payout. As it stands, Fallen Factory gives about the same amount of XP has CSST, which is substantially easier and shorter to complete. Most players only run FF to get the items, and for people who don't want any of the tradein items they may never play the dungeon at all due to the stigma it's generated. Higher XP reward would make the venture more worth it.

    it literally did only 1 heart of dmg when hit by these things when they worked

    considering its a level 90 dungeon even if you tried to hit them on purpose you probably wouldnt die b/c of how little the damage was

    i agree with this part b/c CSST is a thing because it gives this much xp for such a short dungeon

    they should get rid of those god awful fucking glitchy doors at the entrance, they do nothing but be fucking annoying and glitchy. idc if it looks cool, it being cool doesnt matter if its so glitchy you cant even fucking SEE it be cool.
