The Door of Time is a massive door in Time Valley and you use it once to enter the Ice Barrows. Notice how I said once, because you only use it once which is a shame because there is so much potential. Such as a quest where everyone talks Ancient Wynnic, a quest where you are disguised as a Tromsian soldier heading to Skiens' Island and take part in the revolt, or a entire new world. In short the Door of Time has almost endless potential and should be used a bit more.

What if they used it for a quest that revolved around going back to Pre-Gavel Wynn map?

    No offense, but.
They've been saying that for years.
Sure, they have far more resources now, but I'd suspect it'll have a minor role in the next grand plot (Dern, I'm guessing). I'm personally surprised its been this long with little importance to the plot other than explaining lore via time travel, which is odd when you consider how much damage that could do if an antagonist got a hold of it.

I know what you mean, but since the story has been starting to become the focus, I bet it will be sooner rather than later.

I Agree with this. Right now the only quest using it is a dungeon quest and could be used for more
Quest where they go back in time or you throw certain items in that teleport you back to a certain time and you get a Secret Discovery
