World Rotten Passage Boss Altar

High level classes take days to delete. No sense in calling him out like that for no reason.

 

no I looked it up on the wiki. Bovine Barn is lv 25. Rotten Passage is lv 20. Also the rewards for Bovine Barn are lv 25+ while rewards for rotten passage are lv 20+

 

Whoever did that is incorrect. The Scarecrow's Vest and Greenhoof from Bovine Barn are Lv 20, while the "special" reward, Durum's Serenity, is Lv 25.

Cross-bolter and Obolus from Rotten Passage are Lv 25, while the "special" reward, Haros' Oar, is Lv 30.

 

oh this boss alter must be new, cool!

 

One does not simply try to correct a CT member by saying "no I looked it up on the wiki".

 

SO I SPENT MY ENTIRE WEEKEND TRYING TO DO A BOSS ALTAR THAT WASNT EVEN MY LV!!!!!!!!!

 

You know, you could just spend an hour or so leveling up to 25, and then try the altar...

 

The altar IS possible at level 25. I soloed the boss with my level 25 assassin, but it takes a lot of potions and some skill when vanish-chasing Haros; he doesn't quite always aggro to you. Not sure if Rotten Passage is possible at lower levels because of the high amount of mobs in the room.

Had a little over 700 health when doing it(717 to be precise)and casted Spin Attacks for about 100 damage, if you want to know.

The hardest part is getting to Haros(he's hard to spot), but once you get to him, it's just spamming Spin Attack, your melee, and drinking potions when needed.

 

Ok. Can u pls give me a list of boss altars and their lvs bcuz i think if that is wrong on the forum a lot of other stuff will be wrong too (plz dont think im taking advantage over u or something)

Sunrise Canyon: Lv 40
Prison of Souls: Lv 45
Plague Laboratory: Lv 55
Tribal Sanctuary: Lv 57
Arena of the Legends: Lv 70
Challenge of the Blades: Lv 70
Altar of Sanctification: Lv 70
Geyser Pit: Lv 90
Aerie of the Recluse: Lv 95

why 3 lvl 70 boss altars?

 

The suggested levels are for reference only, the difficulties mostly depend on your armor and class, I personally would challenge the corresponding dungeons or boss altars
after I am 3 or more level higher than the suggested levels.
P.S Haros always stays near to a random mob for no reason (maybe heal the mob?), so it is not hard to spot.

Btw, I would like to ask the 'position' of the boss altars, are they treated as dungeons which can be soloed in the suggested level ranges or team bosses like CoW, Qira which require a much higher level to solo or a team to kill?

Each one corresponds to a class. Lv 70 used to be the old level cap, so it's just a small reference and content-dose.

Haros is "Support" AI, which means he'll follow another hostile mob and shoot projectiles. However, his attack rate is zero, meaning he can't actually attack. He can use spells though, such as Meteor, to deal his damage, as well as using Heal as you said, but he mostly has to rely on his flunkies to attack you.

Sort of in-between. They're separate challenges apart from that. At-level, they'll be tough challenges alone, but you can try them in teams to have an easier time. Also, Corrupter of Worlds and Qira are soloable at-level with some effort.
