World Rotten Passage Boss Altar

This boss is VERY hard for its lv. I have tried like 5 times, even with high defense and bringing a mage, (all of which was around lv 20), and we still can't beat it. I think that people need to lower the difficulty of this altar, especially since u need to do a quest to get it (meaning its harder to find people) and its also the lowest boss altar. Or maybe it just should never have been found...

 

boss altars are meant to be extremely difficult for their level, for example, orange wybel.

 

Pretty sure they changed it tho so you don't need to do the boss altar

Yes, but altars like Plague Lab is MUCH easier. Also, it feels like fighting bob its that hard

well i got another mage (a bit higher and he could do it) so maybe make it a lv 25 altar (right now its a lv 20)

 

We tested that altar on GM before we released it. Selvut himself soloed it as an assassin with literally almost completely random armour. If you want to beat a boss altar you gotta be prepared. Their strength is a lot above curve and they are supposed to be a challange. You arent meant to beat them with ease. Its difficulty is fine considering that its a boss altar.

 

Oh I agree. However, this altar is before the lv u can use stat potions. It also is before Tower of Amnesia, so u can't reset ur skill points without sacrificing soul points, which I find a bit annoying. Although, I would take any tips on beating these bosses...

 

You really dont need stat potions for everything :/ health potions really can be enough. I checked your stats and saw that the class you are playing on is assassin. In that case you got pretty neat group control with spin attack. Dont attempt killing the submobs before killing the boss. They ll respawn quite fast i believe and thus its not worth it. F5 helps if you want to see if there are mobs behind you that you gotta stun so that they wont help you. Other than that the only thing i can really say is get good honestly :/ Keep trying until you manage to do it i guess.

Then your issue is probably that you arent fully accustomed to dealing with crowds as an assassin yet.

 

well yeah but compare 3200 hp to 7000 hp HMM...

 

I specifically tested it with the class that would have the hardest time against the fight; Assassins have difficulty with large, disjointed crowds of mobs whereas other classes have methods to deal with that. Also, Bovine Barn is Lv 20. This is Lv 25.
