Guilds New Player Guildwar System

About the whole "banning ID's" thing, you'd also need to consider that people would need to alter their entire builds just to compete in a PvP war, just to circumvent those restrictions. In terms of rewards they don't need to be that substantial, as this idea is more of an addendum to guild-guild interaction and the benefits of territorial wars are already quite substantial. I do agree though that some kind of PvP competition between guilds would add a nice new dimension of fun and immersion beyond just fighting AI controlled mobs hired by defending guilds. Would also add another dimension of PvP besides just the Nether, which is kind of arbitrary at present.

So I'd answer "Yes" but with some revisions, some minor, other serious like the ID banning thing. That just won't work. I agree some kind of workaround might be needed for mages rather than just banning them altogether with an option. Maybe in PvP wars they don't heal allies, just themselves?

Well thats an interesting idea, adding some PvP improving stuff to the war system like you mentioned. But idk if just mage cant heal himself would be acceptable since its pretty much a nerf for mage. Will think about some pvp improvements.

 

I like this idea, but I think maybe the rewards should be changed. Like you said before there could be stars on the guild names for top three and emeralds for the top three, but I think there should be emeralds for everyone, perhaps like 10 LE for 4th-10th, 5LE for 11th-50th, 3 LE for 51th-100th, 1LE for 101th to 500th, 32EB for 501th to 1000th, and 16EB for any other guilds. There might be way less guilds than I mentioned, but I’m not sure how many guilds there are in total. Also, it would be cool if there would be new exclusive items obtainable only from this for maybe the top 10 guilds. Maybe a Mythic for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, a Legendary for 4th-10th. They would also have to be Untradeable Items so players couldn’t just buy them and the sellers make money off them. Also, there should be a system in place to prevent players from leaving a guild at a certain point during the season, so they couldn’t just join a higher-ranked guild without even doing any work in that better guild and still get rewards.

 

Well giving everyone in the guild money... dont think thats an good idea. A guild intern shop is a thing I want to create a complete new thread about because I got some good ideas of implementing guild shop and getting new bosses into the game

 

I support this Idea. I mean it sounds hella fun to add in PvP
