General Harf : I Need help with the portal but, you're not ready.

General Harf : Thanks for coming warrior. I Need help with something...
Something is wrong with this portal... and you can help me.
General Harf : We've been fighting this Corruption for years and now we
are ready to fight it but, getting warriors is hard and I need you to get them.
General Harf : Talk to Commander Tlef in the Alumj bank

Go to the Alumji Bank and talk to Tlef. Tlef will be at the entrance of the Almuji bank (Inside it)

Commander Tlef : Arg, Another soldier come to check on the bank?
Well we do- Oh you're coming from Harf. Well ignore what I said
Commander Tlef : My name is Tlef the commander of the Almuj Army.
Commander Tlef : I'll guess Harf wanted the soldiers... We're short on soldiers
but, I Can give you a hand full for a trade. Find me [1 Almuj Spear] Its in the Invaded Barracks. They stole it from us and I want it back. I heard they hid it at the top of the Barracks guarded
by there strongest warrior.

This may not be clear but, you must find a way into the top of the Barracks
and steal the "Almuj Spear" from a Warrior

Commander Tlef : You... Got it. Thanks for that. I'll send some soldiers to the portal right now
Its go time boys. I Suggest you head back to Harf. This might not be enough
soldiers.
(A Group of troops come from behind the bank)
General Harf : You're back and you brought a team with you.
This isn't enough. I Suggest you go to Troms and talk to the
King.

You head back to the Troms castle and talk to the Troms King.

Troms King : Ah. I See you're doing well. What have you
come to tell me?
Troms King : You need my soldiers to fight the corruption?
I See... Some got stuck in the Dernal Jungle fighting in the temples
Go to the temples and try saving them.

You got to the first out of three temples

Trom Soldier : Ahh! Soldier thank god you're here.
They've tried trapping us. Theres a pile of tnt near the left wall.
Press the button to let us out

Once freed they head out of the temple and to the corruption
Than you head to the second temple

Trom Soldier : I hear footsteps... Please be freedom...
Troms Soldier : It is! This door has been closed on us. You must solve
the puzzle to open it.

Puzzle:
Look around the temple for clues to open the door
For a sequence
Sign 1 - Seems like the skys blue hue has been
getting darker 1 day at a time
Sign 2 - The 2 soldiers that are trapped are
bleeding red but, there surviving
Sign 3 - I must be going crazy... I now see 3
yellow suns..
Sign 4 - I Miss the green fields and how I played with my
4 children in them
Awnser: Blue - Red - Yellow - Green

Trom Soldier : You did it! Thank you so much... you want us to go to
the corruption you say? I didn't think they were ready to go to the source
We'll I'll meet you there.

Head back to the corruption and
Speak to General Harf

General Harf : You made it. I think this is enough. Well now its time to-
(Explosion comes from the portal)
??? : Who do you think you are? Trying to stop this?
You can't defeat me even if you tried
(Corrupted Garoth comes from the portal)
Garoth : I opened this portal and it cant be closed... No...
it WONT be closed...
(Corrupted Garoth spawns infront of the portal
attacking you)

there attacks do 50-150 damage each hit)
General Harf : We got him... but, he wasn't the
hard part the hard part is whats beyond this portal...

Head into the portal

General Harf : This is alot emptier than I thought.
Alright, Search around here and see if you can find a
way to the source of it all.

Talk to the soldiers to see if they found anything

Almuj Soldier : I Thought Almuj was hot... but this is
worse. Oh Hello!
Almuj : Sadly I havn't found anything yet but this... strange crystal...
(You get handed 1 black crystal with the lore:
A Piece of a strange substance... maybe theres a trail)

You see a trail of black crystals

General Harf : You guys found something... A Trail...
Well lets see where it leads

Follow the trail to a cave with turrets to protect it

??? : You're making a mistake coming here...

Trom Soldier : Should we go deeper?

General Harf : We need some look outs. So you stay out here we go
in.

Continue into the cave with Stolen Souls, Zombie Soldiers and Corrupted Animals attacking
you

Almuj Soldier : This doesn't seem like a good idea...
Lets watch out for traps...

You run into a trap breaking the floor but some
shards from the roof come down leaving parkour to do

General Harf : I guess its time to jump...

Theres a small entrance at the end of the parkour
you enter it being more cautious once entering
the door it closes shut

Corruption : If you've come to defeat me you've already lost...
Wynn is getting Corrupted faster than you can attack it...
But, now you all must perish under my eye.

General Harf : We did it. We have to bring this Corrupted Eye to the Ragni King... He will know what
to do...
Trom Soldier : The door opened. Lets exit the way we came back in

You head back to the ragni king and talk to him

Ragni King : Seems like you're doing fine... Oh whats this?
I Don't believe you killed it but, I'll take it to exam and see what we can do
Ragni King : Thanks for killing him. Seems like its not the end... There are still corruption around the
province. Here take this. You've earned it

The Nether PVP would be gone
(No One plays it that much anyways) and replace the
portal with a dungeon

This took me a while to write and I want critisisum to make this better
and I want to hear your opinions or if you have any confussions ask a question

But... Why?

Also, Garoth is in the Lost Sanctuary dungeon, so it doesn't exactly make sense for him to be here.

Also, the quest is a glorified fetch quest where you literally travel across a province that's max level is 24 below the quest level, and the highest level area you go to is 60-65 (!!!) levels below the quest!

 

Most quest are fetch quest this was just trying to challenge people and see their patience and how good they are at fighting and bring them back to ragni (Like Bobs Tear or WynnExcavation site D) It was an idea for me for a while to have a quest that made you face against the portal. I Could change it to where you enter the portal and add more to the quest and get rid of the dungeon idea

Garoth coming out of the portal makes more sense since he opened it and got kicked in

 

not an excuse for bad game design. there are no enticing elements to your quest as it stands right now.

But... he's already out of the portal... and in LS...

 

wynn doesn't go by a difficulty range anymore
it's Length
in this case yes it would be Long (equal to hard)
also i feel like this should go in the 90-95 range as it would be a waste not having a quest there

i don't think a level 99 quest should be placed in front of a level 30 area

i know they do this in other quests but i feel like you can make a better excuse rather than your not prepared
what if im level 98
it would be different if it was low level, where not many quests were behind it, but come on theres like 15 more weapons at that level, it doesn't matter
make a better reason why you can't do this

Warrior is not a good word to use here
warrior is the name of a 1 of the 4 classes, so use soldier or something around it's lines
oh so 1 level later and NOW we're ready to help.
once again i don't like warrior being used instead of Solider

now you want us to go to Almuj bank?

Also you can safely assume that it's been centuries since the war has started.

say like a hardy amount or something

if he's a working for a level 30ish army, then you shouldn't be asking for soliders around that level.

*breaths in* the way you get the spear ruins the quest a bit
since you're forced to do it at level 99, all the challenge is gone, it's now just a look around, not a metal gear solid kind of deal

corrupted garoth has less lore as he is from a harder version of a dungeon.
if you have seen the quest he stars in, THE PORTAL IS ALREADY OPEN AND HE'S A NON CORRUPTED BEING.
do you have any knowledge with in the lore?
If you don't know, it twas a miner who opened the portal, not Corrupted Garoth...

500 hp is awful for an endgame ring
and why -water damage when the ring gives 10 intel
WHY -50 WALK SPEED
that will make you incredibly slow, no one would use it
saving grading the dungeon last

it's for lvl 75 items
why would you get it from a level 99 dungeon
you didn't try on these rewards
dungeons tend to have much more than this
how much times do u have to complete the dungeon to get the treasure?

So this dungeon seems really captivating

it's worse than the quest which says something
you listed like 5 stages

500 health is about the same health range of level 30 mobs
these guys are really weak
50 of them? wow
that is so much

hardly any
guild wars can go up to 1000 mobs person thing

once again, too easy
now the range is level 70 mobs but like
that's still incredibly easy to kill
this is a lvl 99 dungeon, so i don't see why it's so easy

may be being harsh, but it doesn't make any sense
nor does it fit or is actually good

detail is key lol

Your items aren't good, the stuff you SHOULD be suggesting is bland and vauge, conflicts with the lore, incredibly easy, and pointless for the most part
6m xp is enough to get half way through level 99, so 1-2 runs of this easy dungeon will be enough
you would only have to do this 26 times to get to level 101
that isn't trying
dungeon bombs will make this easy

Garoth is part of Molten Heights lore and not associated with Wynnic Corruption.
Most of the mobs are weak, most of the rewards are high.
This is just a fetch quest.
Also, "The Eye" is the great secret behind Wynn, and will most likely be the end boss in the portal.

Basically poor design for the quest, very short on details for the dungeon, the lore is wrong, and the rewards are ridiculously high.

Actually, Garoth is a guy who studied corruption who then got corrupted and went to Lost Sanctuary.

6mil is 3/4 a level at 95.

 

Level 90-100 is just grinding to level up.

 

have you ever been a level 95? oh wait, this dungeon is level 99.
6 million exp is about half (or a third) level at ninety nine.
also you would only have to run this dungeon like 30 times to get from 100-101

please research before suggesting.
actually, please don't suggest until the suggestions are logical

 

Most level 99s go to CSSTs anyways and the CSST only gives you 1 million xp every time you run it. It would make leveling up easier

 

That is not needed.
What is needed is more (good) quests to fill the gaps.

I've fixed alot of your problems with the Quest and I got rid of the dungeon.
I Suggest you re-read it and see if its better

 

7 million is still a TON for a quest, and 5 LE is more than any other quest I can think of (closest is Caissop with 3 LE)
