World Mythic Boots Suggestion - Singularity

No Eula, what happens is.. let's say you have 50 Skill Points put into agility, so you'd have like +25% dodge (Just an example) But if you applied the Boots and the negative skill points for agility were 50 the actual skill points would not go down, but the bonus would, so you would have +0% dodge and still have the 50 agility skill points.

 

I get the gimmick for these boots, but it’s just... bad. Most people couldn’t use them, and the negatives highly outweigh the positives. But since the only positive is attack speed, there really isn’t a good way to counteract it without completely making it OP or making it completely shit.

Overall, the attack speed is just not worth it.

 

Ah, ok. Thanks for the info. Seems a little weird tho since positive skill attributes do affect the actual count (I’m pretty sure)

Hey, you voted "underpowered" on the poll, if you can, please give some feedback on it. It seems okay to me now, the negative skill points can be countered with a sp build, and attack speed can mean a huge melee DPS boost. Plus it has some nice additional bonuses as damage, ws and huge elemental defense.

Hmmm, I'll see about the SP, but I'll need more opinions on that before I change it. So far people have said that the negative sp bonuses can be countered if you have good items.
I will also change the lore to make more sense (or maybe mess it up even more).

I see. There are some other positives about this item, such as very high elemental defenses, and decent damage and ws. It also has 8 powder slots, which gives even more opportunity for better defenses.
If I see more people thinking that the item is underpowered, I'll probably buff the current positives and perhaps add more (like mana regen or poison)

 

Oh, I didn’t see the 8 powder slots. I think Mana Regen would be good. I’m not quite sure just where this items niche is really

Hmm, okay. I'm a bit conflicted with whether the item should be buffed or nerfed, as the votes and comments suggest both about equally the same. I'll see what I can do.

Right now I'm pretty much stuck with what I should do with this. Like CountBurn said it's supposed to be realistic, but right now it is such a weird item that it's nothing like other mythic boots. Non of them are so much of a glass cannon and have that much noticeable drawbacks.

 

Updated the item after a week of being lazy. Please leave feedback if it should be changed or reversed back to the previous version.

 

I don’t think % Health Regen does anything really.

 

In theory how it should work is the less health you got the more your health depletes, so you would be really vulnerable to single hard neutral attacks (although I heard it was broken and doesn't do anything at all, but I don't think it's true).

 

But I think it just affects the rate. Unless if you have negative raw Health Regen, I don’t think it matters.

 

Why do people think it affects the rate. If that were the case EVERYBODY would be using Amulet of Rejuvenation.

You'd need to get a good identification on skill points on the item and a good skill point build.

 

If something is incredibly dense and impossibly light, that means it's just small...

 

I would lower the defenses and bump the health up a bit, maybe like... add 5 health? (jk)

also how did you do the wynndata mockups, I want to make those for my mythic ideas

 

Which is what a singularity is (supposedly). I know it doesn't make sense for boots to be that small, I'll change it if I can think up of a better lore.

You edit a wynndata's item's source code (either do f12 or right click and choose 'inspect'). It may be hard at first.
