World New Boss Altar Idea: Rat Cave

By that title, you already know where this is going.
I'm suggesting a low leveled boss altar named Rat Cave (or something around those lines)
Any way, this would be good because since the lowest level boss alter is Bovine Barn (Rotten Passage is a minimum of lvl 20, while Bovine Barn, you can go in immediately.)
This boss altar will be located somewhere around Farmer Cevalus.

Now you may have already guessed this, but the boss is the Giant Rat.
That means the Giant rat that is already located under the bridge of ragni needs to be removed.
Now basically, this cave will be just like the cave you walk in for the old Thieving Rodents quest, but a bit different. This is a bit of a dark suggestion for it, but there should be a skeleton of Kelri... Hey it fills in some lore on how he was just replaced.

Anyway, i was thinking the way you get in was just throwing in like 10 Rat Tails (not washer will touch on that later, and the tails will have a lore saying you can get 10 to access the boss altar, because of low levels not knowing how they work.

The first quest where boss altars are shown is level 59 or so, which is incredibly high for something that can be started at level 15 or so. Also it's a really hard quest for its level.

So i was thinking it's drops could be accessories based off the old items within the quest

As stated by his wife, he wears it all around her
aswell i think it should give walk speed, but also health
(walk speed so his wife wouldn't notice)

We don’t need this. The giant rat is just a meme and let it stay that way.

 

No. Bovine Barn is the lowest-level altar and it will remain that way, plus the Giant Rat is a horrible idea for an altar boss.

 

however most low levels will not notice bovine barn
it's in the middle of the ocean
and there's no seaskipper, atleast add that

Durum Isles isn’t that hard to get to. It takes about 1-2 min via boat or archer from Nemract or Mage Island. Plus we got that new lvl 20ish boss altar in Saint’s Row anyway.

 

but it's hard to actually notice, because basically no one goes there.

 

Boss Altars are supposed to be more of a secret anyway. There’s only one that you need to do in order to complete a quest. There should be optional content out there that rewards players for exploration besides discoveries.

Besides, lvl 15 is too low. There isn’t enough gear to specialize. The reason why boss altars are hidden is to give the player a harder challenge. There shouldn’t be anything that hard in the low levels.
