World Wynncraft In Game Aution

On most other servers there are in game auction (/ah) and I think wynn needs that because right now when ever you want to buy an item you have to go to Detlas and forums for a month before you can actualy find a single item. With this you could just show your items for a price and people could buy them then and there, so much easier.

i mean auction houses on servers are fairly common so im sure you could probably just import the code from somewhere and it would make transactions a lot easier as well

A simple command like /ah does not fit the Wynncraft style. And I'm not sure the suggestion does either but if it were to be added it would require a building / npc, imo.

 

Sure it could an npc is like deltas or all cities whatever

On a technical side, an auction house makes it much easier to get the gear you want, and would also be new player friendly as buying gear would be very much simpler. Low Level gear will find a home much more easily.

However, I think I prefer trading as it is, as it encourages socializing and feels more RP-like (in the way that you actually need to find someone to buy something off them). The trading community will still be around, but an auction house feels very different compared to finding an actual, willing seller (in a way, could be very frustrating).

That's my opinion on an in-game auction. Not to say it's bad, but it takes out something brilliant and cool about trading items in Wynn. Something you don't see much in other servers with an in-game auction.

 

I think having a limit such as being able to post one thing at a time, per day would prevent trading from becoming obsolete.
