World Bloomi: The Plant Province! (remade)

Greetings ladies and gentle... plants... yeah
today i present to you a remake, revival, rewrite, whatever you would like to call it, which originally came from shamos200
This will be similar to the original, however not an exact copy, so i present to you:
Bloomi: The Plant Province!

The Story
Around 400 AD:
An ill scientist by the name of Talpn was going to fruma to pick up a rare medicine for his illness. However on the way he was caught in a storm and lost his way. As he was sailing uncharted seas, unknown where to he was going, he landed his boat on an island full of animals and life. Due to it's location, it's too far from wynn, dead island, and skiens island to pick up any corruption, retaining it's beauty since it's creation. Talpn was too tired to find where the heck he was, so instead he set up camp at the shore. Many plants grew nearby, supporting him food. The next day he woke up and started to explore the land. He found many unknown species that wynn, gavel, and fruma never documented. Luckily, he had a bag on him and wrote down what he saw. Further within the island, he saw an overgrowth cluster of vines and thorns. However, the overgrowth was too small to pose a threat, and he didn't know what he could do to help it out, so he just left it, assuming something much stronger than him would take it on.

30 years after Bloomi's Discovery:
Talpn grew a fondness toward the island, and infact cured his illness. Soon he explored in more dangerous places around the island, such as the giant mountain near the edge. He saw out a bird-like humanoid species flying to the island, They soon landed inside a patch of the overgrowth, which has gotten worse since he first landed. He documented what he saw and ran down to where the bird landed. The bird was badly hurt, so Talpn helped it out. After some time recovering, the bird, which was actually an ancient avos, started to talk with him. The bird somehow spoke wynnic, but thankfully, Talpn had a wynnic transcriber in his bag, so he took it out and translated what the bird said. it read to "Hello, I am thousands of miles away from my homeland, do you think you could help our species?" Talpn was unsure on how he could, however both Talpn and the avos decided to create a small settlement on an area far away from the overgrowth. It turns out this was the start of many avians coming towards the island, as that's around the time of when frumans came to corkus, and some avians escaped from the corkians. Talpn didn't know what to name this bird species, but soon he settled on Oshams. They made a large village named Osham Village

50 years after Bloomi's Discovery:
A wood man started to rapidly emerge from the ground at the center of the island. Wood man, is what will we call it, spoke the same language as Talpn. This wood man went through the ground by the roots of the great tree, located in Corkus (which after withering became the house of the ??? avos for the phoenix prince) It said what was going on, which basically the corkian government found out about Bloomi, and they wanted to gain recognition by capturing the island and increase their land mass. Wood man also said that he can protect the island from the corkians.
Soon 5 large boats was spotted in the horizon, all having corkians flags. Wood Man used the overgrowth to create a wall of thorns and shot thorns at the boats. The wall shot an incredible amount of thorns at the boats. Soon Wood Man sunk ALL 5 BOATS WITH THE WALL, and Bloomi was victorious. Wood Man decided to stay so he can regrow the great tree.

80 years after Bloomi's Discovery
After Wood Man used the overgrowth to fight the corkians, it had monumental effects on the island...
The overgrowth spread incredibly quickly on the western side of the island, making it impossible to get to one side of the island. It was continuing to spread, however stopping at a wall of trees Wood Man created around the Great Tree. In the overgrowth, it created the Coylk species, a species of just overgrown plant people. They however were peaceful, unless one were to invade their village.
Around the village was powerful mobs, and no one was able to get to Coylk Settlement, other than natives to the overgrowth.
After Talpn was getting to is 100s, he decided he was going to soon die, and he created a memorial. He placed his bag and notebook infront of the coffin, and told the Oshams to when he passed, place him inside the coffin (located in a cave)

92 years after Bloomi's Discovery
A tragic event stroke the island, and Talpn sadly passed at age 119 (Bloomi's plants can extends one's life by around 2 decades)
The Oshams buried him in the coffin, and the island wasn't doing it's best.
The overgrowth made it past part of the wall, and once it reaches the tree, many life on the island created by Wood Man would perish, along with wood man himself.

200 years after Bloomi's Discovery
The tree was caught in the overgrowth, and soon many species gone extinct.
Some wynn mages came over to the island to deal with some of the overgrowth, but when they stroke a meteor at where the tree once was, a bottomless pit was created, and the core of the overgrowth laid in there. No one in the province was prepared enough, but one day a hero will defeat overgrowth. They called the pit,"Overgrown Chasms" and the overgrowth created a door, which only a magical key located on the island may open it.
Wynn colonists came over and made the first and only wynn settlement currently known on the island, Nomadow. Not much else happens after that, until present day.

Now:
Bloomi is stronger than ever, the bloomi-corkus relationship was getting positive, and now the c. s. s. wavesbreaker can take you there if you show the plant pendant to the captain (Quest starts in relos, where he gives you the pendant and holding it on the boat will take you to bloomi.)
More soldiers came and started to deal with the overgrowth.
Things are looking positive about Bloomi's future, and we shall leave it on a high note.

bulk of the suggestion is the province, so suggest more quests or dungeon features if you like.
Quests:
Bloomi's Recognition: lvl 90ish quest starting at relos, basically giving access to bloomi, and gives access to the Overgrown Chasms
Talpn's Ancestry: Lvl 90ish started in bloomi near his memorial

lvl 100ish, very hard challenge. Key guardians spawn in overgrowth.
Corkian Conundrum
lvl 100ish as well, inside a sunken boat. Backs up some lore about the corkus-bloomi war, keys are found on eastern side of the island

in all seriousness, the lore should go more in depth about relations with corkus, as well as other general fundamentals as well

 

Agreed; just let it die. No matter how good it may be on paper, we don't need this more than Dern, Fruma, Gavel, or even the Molten Heights Storyline.

If the team wants to add another meme province, then they'll do it. Beating the meme like a dead horse probably won't help that though. This is as much of a suggestion as Corkus ever was.

What that means is that if Bloomi was ever to be added, the CT would do all the lore, quests, towns, and all. The most you could get would be some names for the towns. Suggesting lore is never a good idea in the first place, but all of this is far too much. Most suggestions are tweaked a bit by the CT anyway, and the more complex they are the more they're tweaked. For this ever to be a full-on detailed suggestion that could be implemented into the game, it would be changed plenty in any case, to the point where detailing it to that point would have been rather useless.

What I'm trying to say is that there's no point in making a full-on suggestion for anything of this magnitude. You can suggest the basics and a skeleton, but in such cases it's going to be the CT that decide how things go. I know this goes against my usual stance of "It's your job to make the suggestion, not the CT's", but this is a special case.

Something new, not this. Just because we don't know of anything that can come later doesn't mean nothing can come later if we don't make it.

 

i did write about how corkus was wanting to attack, however once im done with atleast the dungeon, then ill work on making it's relations i guess

I agree with what Ganon said. It’s fine to make these suggestions, it’s just that at this point the CT won’t probably implement any new meme provinces. Even after they finish all I mentioned, they still have the Main Storyline or the rest of the discoveries to do. Plus in all likelihood they’ll leave some parts of Fruma and Dern unfinished. Plus Gavel is still unfinished and could use a revamp too. Given how long it’s taken the CT make Wynn, it will be years b4 it will become a problem.
