So, I'm sure we've all experienced having to go all the way back to a city because a certain quest needs another item for it. All i'm saying is that in the quest description have it say something like
"(Needs Breathing Helmet II)" under the original text. It doesn't seem to hard to do, and it would save a lot of time.
The hints would just give you tips in the chat or such on items needed etc.
There would also be a /toggle hints (thanks kraetys) which would leave the quest book as it is now. Do it again and it will enable hints again. .
(I'm thinking about having the player spawn with no hints and /toggle hints being the way to activate them though)
This could also be included with boat passes; ex. sailing to Maro Peaks without know you need a climbing helmet. This could be written under the boat pass name as a description.

P.S.: Someone please respond with the link to "How to suggest" for me so I can feel irony :^)

yes because it makes a lot of sense for your quest book to say the item you need in a certain part of the quest right at the beginning

What I meant is that you don't have to use the wiki for everything, if a player checks a quest in the wiki before even starting it it's pretty bad (if he never did it before)
I totally agree with this suggestion tho, no problems

i know but u suggests that we should play the game in the 'normal' way,but if u say for example in from the mountains quest that u need a breathing helmet, you'll be like wtf

I definitely agree. I don't know how I'd wake up the guardian of the forest without the wiki.

It already says ”needs (item) to start”. And I think that’s enough. Any more information than that will spoil the fun for players that want to complete the quests the way they were meant to. I am not one of those but we should respect that and not just spoil everything. If you want to see the items search up the quest on the wiki. It takes 2 seconds.

Im not saying "Tell us every item needed for the quest in the book" I'm saying that if we already have an item from a quest and we need it for a different one (ie: From the Mountains where you need the Breathing Helmet II where it does not say it in the description) it should tell us. That does not spoil in anyway the quests lore or such, its just saving the time of having to go all the way back to a city to get the helmet. For quests that are supposed have a mystery on what the item is (like the light forest ones) then yeah that can be left out, but when the dialogue literally says "Take a [Breathing Helmet] with you" it doesn't do anything even related to spoiling the story.

    I'd say yes and no
    Yes :
    - Its good, you don't have to go all the way back to a bank (especially if the place is really far away from a bank)
    No :
    - It "spoils" as you may understand what you will have to do or smth like that
    - The Wynncraft Wiki has a special section for it
Can you add a poll answer like "Yes but" that would count as .5 support?
But yea, cool idea however :D

Why are you so incredibly defensive. Can you not even take someone telling you that you don’t like your idea. Even if it says ”needs breathing helmet II” some people might think that’s a spoiler. So I’m gonna say no.

    We could make it toggleable?
    /toggle hints
And whichever quest you're tracking gives you chat hints
    maybe?
