Alright y'all know I love me some dark theme, and a new one is always cool, but...

this one doesn't quite feel complete. Here's why:

1. Text boxes are white with black text for whatever reason, mimicking light theme as opposed to dark theme

2. Headers feel flatter thanks to no apparent gradient, and seem rougher thanks to a lack of round corners

3. Profile boxes highly contrast against the dark background, looking a tad out of place and the slightest bit harsh on the eyes, especially as opposed to the normal dark theme. It also looks just a little flat, and really lacks the subtlety of the other themes.

   (even light theme's is more subtle, something it usually lacks)
4. The banners and prefixes are from the light theme, and clash with the darker motifs. Not as noticeable as the other points during typical browsing, but still there.

That's about all there is to criticize. Hopefully these can be fixed, but otherwise Starry Night will always be there as the perfect theme. This is an otherwise fantastic theme, so it would be rather nice to have it closer to the classic dark themes.

Ok small update:

• Profile boxes have been updated (twice, in fact), and now look great
• Text boxes are now coloured properly, though the utility bar is just a little bit hard to see
• Despite that, the Shoutbox message box is still white with black writing
• Colin's dope

Update 2:
Notifications are white. This doesn't actually look that bad, so it might not be a mistake.

Poll buttons are also light theme:

The toolbar at the top of the text box looks hazy and is hard to read. The message "write your reply..." is in black and hard to read.

The text I have highlighted is pretty much impossible to read without highlighting it. You also cannot see the cursor so you don't know if you're actually typing in the text box. Happens with spoiler titles, media inserts, etc.

Edit: When I click on alerts and find an alert say someone posted a new thread, I click on it, the thread will appear like 2mm down from the top of the poster's profile pic (idk if this sentence is even coherent at this point).
So if you clicked on an alert from me the website would bring you to the post but not to the top (so the horn on the top of my pfp would be clipped off). Just scroll up to fix but I thought this was odd.

There's also a really annoying thing where on mobile, typing anything just takes you to the bottom of the page. Like, you can't even see the text box

 

Same thing happens on journey, so it might not be a theme-specific bug.

 

Huh. It's fine on starry night...

 

Maybe it's just newer themes?
