World Give A Name To The Planet Where Wynn Is.

Title says it all. All RPG's have a name for their planet, and Wynncraft should be no different.

Here are some reasons why the planet should have a name:

1. It will enrich the game's lore.

2. If this does get added I will ascend to the stars and live amongst the legends of the great Temple of Accepted Suggestions, with legendary heroes such as Fix Lag.

If the reason why the admins didn't add a name yet is because they can't decide on a gucci name, I, your boy, Sonick, will list a few that I think are gucci.

-Eruld, it's derived from world translated to Old English. I know the admins have a fetish for old english, so this seems like the most probable name.

-Erde, it's derived from earth translated to Old English.

-Memeville, suggestion of Comrade Tantibus.

-Wynnviet Union, suggestion of Comrade ThomAnn.

-Tevs, suggestion of RLLL93.

Besides the fact that such a thing will probably end up being an official thing and naming it ourselves is pretty pointless, I don't see why we'd call it anything other than Wynncraft. If you're going to refer to the 4+ provinces as a whole, then Wynncraft already covers that.

 

I understand that for us players Wynncraft is enough, but this is about calling it something in game. Imagine if an NPC said something like

NPC: "I sure love the world of Wynncraft"

It wouldn't make sense, because Minecraft doesn't exist in game. Also, I made this suggestion because I don't know if they will really add a name in the future. If they decided the names of all provinces, the whole story and the map years ago, this probably means they didn't want to/forgot to add a name for the world.

I don't see anything particularly wrong with this suggestion, is what I mean, it just doesn't seem to have much of a point

Eh I'd like it to stay the way it is with no planet name. Gives a lot of mystery and allows the lore to be more creative with what the world is like and how it was shaped. I'd rather Wynn's lore to be more like Middle-Earth's or Dark Souls, instead of just being 'planet with people on it'.

 

I think it would be helpful to name the world in terms of the lore. It helps build the world and in turn makes it more memorable. I like the first option better.

 

How about Earth... nah that's a bad one
