Website & Forums Losing Items Thread

There should be a pinned post in the "wynncraft"and "questions" sections of the forum telling players there is a no refund policy on items lost to hoppers, fire, lava, etc. so that way we get less "I lost my (insert weapon/item/horse/emerald(s)/merchant token) and want it back!" threads. The FAQ doesn't even address this (and still claims that loot bonus doesn't work post patch). I think we're all interested in preventing this, so putting a flashy title like "Lost an Item? Click Here!" to grab people's attention is key. Make sure to answer the above question if you agree or disagree with the thread I am suggesting be made. Thanks for reading!

IK it's in the rules, but people post it all the time and no one does anything about it. Why not make a thread that tackles this problem?

 

honestly i don't think it would even help, considering the "Stuck?" thread never really killed the "Help im stuck in hole" threads

Have you read the FAQ in the bug reports section? It says it there.

 

I'm going to add it to the faq, as first question on "In-game" section, thanks for the "suggestion".

As we can see with the Stuck thread people don't really pay attention to pinned threads and having +1 thread on the Wynncraft section which is not being seen and is only taking space would be useless.

I am not talking about the bug reports section. I'm talking about the FAQ in the wynncraft>questions section. It wasn't listed there.

Honestly that is the other thing I knew would be a good criticism of this suggestion, and I have no comeback for it. Really, people ignoring that thread is just annoying. Though, I do think we get 'less' lost/stuck threads that the lost an item thread. I think it would be interesting to make the warning thread I am suggesting, even just to see if it has an affect on the number of those we see. These threads kinda are the reason why I rarely ever look at the wynncraft section tho. I'd like to see a change that may never happen, as I think everyone would.
