An Idea Which May ' Ease The Pain ' ...

As I've noticed, this 'rounding' has caused much trauma and sorrow to a plethora of members on this unpredictable server. So, I've been brain-storming a myriad of ideas which could potentially help to calm the evident distress; one idea which stood out and stayed with me was: everyones re-rolls being lowered by one. For the people who are baffled about what I'm saying, here's an example: a person may have an item which has a re-roll count of [4], and the ID's at this re-roll were fine for them. However, after this 'rounding' update, the ID's they have morphed into an image so diabolical and eerie, and the person can not afford to re-roll it again, so it's [5]. And inevitably, this person will rage and start a riot, especially if the change has effected the value of their item drastically. To calm this down, people should be rewarded with one less re-roll than what they already endeavour so the persons re-roll count will now be [3], and they can now afford to re-id their item again, and hopefully occupy ID's much more reasonable than the mortifying mess they grasped onto before-hand.

If you have a suggestion, please comment on this idea. If you've read this, and are enraged and decide to comment something distasteful - you most likely have a deep-seeded problem, and therefore can take a hike.

The idea is allright (I mean it's free stuff for us so why not) but if my info is still relevant they can't edit items once they're in players inventories, thats why old undied nether armour or whatever it was still exists, they don't have acces to that stuff, probably because you can't do that in minecraft and well this is still all in minecraft.

 

I've already contacted a certain admin about it, and they said it's somewhat viable if it's done as a 'free re-roll'. So, hopefully it can be taken on-board and done. But thank you for the suggestion, it's much appreciated.

Yes! such a out of the blue thing that has a HUGE impact should have at least someway of compensation!

pretty sure its not actually even possible to get 2/4conc or +2 tier attack stuff anymore

 

It is possible, however the chance of getting those ID's are much harder. But, people who had a 2/4 old concentration, and now it's a 1/4, should at least have the opportunity to have a chance of another identification, especially if they're loosing hard-earned LE over this.
